    Booyah Murray State.

    Nice upset pick by me!

My first loss of the day

Thanks a lot Murray State. My dream of a perfect bracket will have to wait another year. :(
  • SQ_Crazies
    WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I picked those bastards!
  • mallymal614
Now will Baylor get knocked off next? What a tournament so far!
  • Leonardo
I also had Murray State winning.
  • Writerbuckeye
    Florida and Vandy...

I'm definitely rooting against Baylor. I didn't pick them to the Sweet 16 and I'm sure quite a few people did, so I hope Sam Houston State can knock them off.
  • trackandccrunner
Glad that could not call that obvious walk there... looks like the refs want Baylor to win this game too.
  • ironman02
...and as soon as I made my post, Baylor has taken care of business. They're gonna get the win.

Sam Houston State just shot themselves in the foot...

Has there ever been a year where the opening day had more close games?

Thankfully I picked against them both, got lucky. But was anyone else REALLY not sure about Vandy? I thought Murray State might be a popular upset pick when I first looked at the bracket.

BOO. I have them in the final four. Pretty much everyone else in our pool as Duke or Nova

Yeah, definitely a walk. That no-call really helped Baylor, but then Sam Houston started turning the ball over constantly.

    Lol LaceDarius truckin bitches
  • trackandccrunner
Yeah Sam Houston pretty much fell apart after that but if they call that walk its still a 2 point game.

St. Marys could be in trouble. Samhan had 17 and 7 in the 1st half, but also 4 fouls. If he picks up a 4th early they can't hang with Richmond.

Baylor to the FF is a pretty good pick, karen. I went with Nova, but after today, I'm regretting that. Maybe they'll get their act together after that scare. I think we can agree that as long as one of them beats Duke, we'll be okay in the long run. haha

Baylor has the balance in their lineup but again, Nova gets favorable calls so it will be tough to beat them, especially being a non-traditional like Baylor.

Baylor hasn't done anything today that has made me feel too confident in them either. And you are right, as long as Duke gets knocked out in the second round again, all will be good.
  • trackandccrunner
I have Duke in the FF but Im biased since Im a Duke fan haha. I just really wanted Baylor to lose because I have a lot of friends who have them in the FF.

    Let's go Spiders!

If you're sitting somewhere with other people, make a bet now that St. Mary's will win.

    I took Richmond. :D

And have lost basically every close call game already.
  • SQ_Crazies
Well I took Richmond too, and I filled ONE bracket out and haven't missed a game yet. I even almost had Nova going out in the first round.
