Azubuike24Lexington, Kentucky native Shelvin Mack is going off.
You wonder why Tubby Smith and Billy Gillispie aren't coaching at UK anymore. This kid didn't even get a look from them.
Instead, the likes of Michael Porter, Konner Tucker and many, many others got scholarships.
Baffling. -
NonButler hasn't lost since Dec. 22
-
devil1197Butler booyah
-
NonMack is 6 of 8 from downtown
22 points
Butler has drained 11 3s -
NonButler has a nice team.
Howard is a little overrated for being their best player. He flops a lot and gets in foul trouble quite a bit but he's stayed in this game and it's been key.
However, Mack is deadly and they have Gordon Hayward, a 6-9 guard-forward, only a sophomore but a very versatile player -
MulvaThis, along with Michigan State, may have been the 2 easiest first round picks for me outside of the 1-3 seeds. Butler is a damn good team. I think they match up well with Murray State too, and expect to see them in the Sweet 16.
-
MulvaAnd I don't think anyone considers Howard to be Butler's best player. That's pretty clearly Hayward.
-
NonThey should smash Murray State.
-
THE4RINGZMurray States top six scorers all average within one point of each other. Teamwork bitches.
-
ts1227Northern Iowa/UNLV about to kick off the nightcap on CBS...
-
NonNot sure about Murray State's defense. If they're able to extend the defense and challenge the 3s a lot better than UTEP they'll have a chance.
-
NonKentucky/ETSU underway
-
THE4RINGZ^^^^^ should be a real nail biter
-
wildcats20Call me crazy, call me whatever you want; but for some reason, I think OU will beat Georgetown tonight.
-
ts1227Ohio doesn't look special or anything thus far, but Georgetown looks like shit to start.
-
NonKentucky having its way as expected
fun team to watch, though, even in a blowout mode -
SQ_Crazies
I won't call you crazy, I said in the bracket thread or somewhere that I think they could beat G-Town because they have a legit top level player in Bassett.wildcats20 wrote: Call me crazy, call me whatever you want; but for some reason, I think OU will beat Georgetown tonight.
I wanted to pick them so badly in my bracket but I didn't, from what I've seen so far they look like they're playing with the energy to make me regret that. -
THE4RINGZI have OU winning in one of my brackets. I learned my lesson about picking against the local underdogs last year with Cleveland State.
-
wildcats20Yeah I didn't pick them in anything, but I have a feeling it might be one of "those games."
-
ts1227Georgetown woke up... shit.
-
SQ_CraziesI hate John Thompson.
-
GOONx19Patrick Patterson with 11 points early. UK up 20.
-
wildcats20And OU woke back up.
-
ts1227So fucking pumped!
I know it's early, but I don't care! -
GOONx19And Eric Bledsoe's 4/4 from deep, he's got fourteen.
