Seantrel Henderson to OSU?

  • thedynasty1998
I heard a mention of this on the Fan today. I'd gladly accept him at OSU, with or without dad. I think Tressel can keep him in check.

    This kid is garbage.

Make your damn mind up and sign.

This flip flop crap is exactly that, crap.

I'm sure this isn't an easy decision for an 18 year old to make. The possible (probable) sanctions coming down on USC make it even harder for him. I'm not going to judge him for not being able to make up his mind, and I hope things work out for him wherever he goes. If he wants to come to OSU, great. If he doesn't, well then good luck to him. For all the bone headed things kids do these days, wanting to take your time and make the right decision isn't so bad.

    I will judge him.

He shouldnt have made the commit to USC if he knew he was going to play around like this.

Dont commit to a school and then play games like this.

Has he even said he wasn't going to commit to USC? I think we're just speculating. Why wouldn't he have second thoughts if he thought big sanctions were coming?
  • Eric Taylor
Why not just end the speculation and sign with USC?

He and his dad love to play games with people and I hope it blows up in their face.

When is the deadline to sign? Why should he sign before then if isn't 100% sure about his decision?

Yeah Hooley wouldn't mention any names, but I assumed it was Henderson.

But then again, Hooley has been wrong on different things in the past, too.

When is the announcement supposed to be?

I really don't have a problem with what he's doing. He likes USC, but he wants to make sure that he isn't going to get screwed once he enrolls. It's not like he verballed to OSU and picked USC and is now changing his mind again. He went through the recruiting process, picked 3 final schools and picked one of those final 3. The one that he happened to pick is under investigation, so he's hoping to see what happens regarding that.

The kid seems very bright in how he's handled this.

Exactly. I remember people scream the same types of things to Pryor because he waited. There is a signing period for a reason. You don't have to do it on the first day. Do all these people get mad when NFL players don't sign on the first day of free agency? To me it sounds like he is just taking his time to make sure things work out for him. As he should.

Now as far as wanting him. If he is as talented as they say I'd love for him to be a Buckeye. However, I'd be really leary of what trouble his father could cause or he himself if he's a chip off the old block.

I think he wants to go to OSU but his dad wants him at USC. Thats why when they asked HIM on his verbal day what school finished second he spoke so highly of OSU and Tress. His dad seems very manipulative and wants whats best for him not his son as evident by him not being apart of his life until it was clear he was going to be some stud football star.

He doesn't have to sign an LOI at all. If he's worried about the sanctions at USC, there is a document he can sign that obligates the school to fulfill his scholly, but doesn't obligate him to stay @ USC. Basically he could leave without having to be released. USC should give him that option.

Did Henderson actually sign when he said he would? I never saw anything.
