What seniors will you miss the most?

  • sportswizuhrd
Outside of your team, because its a given you will probably miss the seniors from your team the most. Then the thread would turn into a "who is your favorite team" thread.

    My team is UConn..

    I will miss watching..

Jarvis Varnado-Mississippi State...Love watching shot blockers and he is one of (if not) the best ever. Great kid as well. Paying for his own scholarship so MSU could get more players(Renardo Sidney).
    Grevis Vasquez-Maryland...Mr. Do everything.
Scottie Reynolds-'Nova(it seemed like he was just getting to Nova last season. I would like to see him lead them to the Final Four)
Nic Wise-Arizona(not many players went through a career like him-4 years and 4 coaches).
Tajuan Porter-Oregon(one of the smallest to play, but wont find many with as big of heart.
Damion James-With all the players they have lost since he arrived, he has been the constant for Texas. Barnes expected him to go to the NBA but came back for a strong senior season. Team crumbled after becoming number 1 but he didnt.
Tweety Carter-Baylor...Has helped this school turn around from one of the most biggest tragedies in CBB. Started following after learning he was one of the greatest HS scorers to play. Good career, not as solid of scorer as he was once but he didnt have to be.

    Scottie Reynolds

Grevis Vasquez is a great player but he just rubs me the wrong way.

This seems like Scottie Renyolds 10th season. Its like the Van WIlder of college bball. He is really fun to watch.

Carl Krauser - do it all little point guard that could for Pitt. After signing that eight year deal in 2002, it's finally coming to a close. But he's been magnificent

Marcus Ginyard (NC)- came in with the great recruiting class (Hansborough, Lawson, etc.) and got injured in their championship run. Now struggling with a young team. It has gotta be tough for him.

Tweety Carter, Scottie Reynolds and Luke Harangody.

I feel really bad for Marcus. He was a part of a national championship team, but injuries kept him from actually being able to contribute much to that effort on the court. Then all the teammates that he was close to moved on to the NBA, leaving him in Chapel Hill for one final season, a season that turned out to be a nightmare. Marcus was never a star, but when he was actually healthy, he was a very good defender, rebounder, and a guy with a knack for making those hustle plays that change the course of a game. This season has been hard on him, and on Deon Thompson too, but I'll always have a lot of respect for them both. The 2009-2010 season has been a huge disappointment, and I can't imagine how hard it must be for Marcus and Deon, but they're leaving Chapel Hill with a ring and that can never be taken away from them.

Sosa from Louisville. I've watched him play there since I was 6 (I'm 22 now) so I'm not going to know what to do watching a Louisville game without him in uniform lol.
