New Florida QB's dad has prostate cancer.

Now I understand this is sad news, but I mean does it REALLY need to be on the front page of a huge media machine's website?

In other news Florida's 4th string kicker got an A on his Biology paper.

I would guess that it's on there because his dad was also the starting QB at UF in 1978 I believe

ESPN is the SEC's network, expect more of it, it hasn't even started up yet really.

Its on ESPN today because it was on the Gator forum that they get info from yesterday.
John has a very, very good chance of bouncing back with no problems, imo.

I agree, they don't need to be broadcasting somebody's personal medical status when it is not necessary.

people seem to be interested in what's going on in Gator Nation.

I just wish some other sports network would try to take a big step forward.... but remember they are a sports network... NOT TMZ.

    Dear Lord Tebow,

    Please cure my father's cancer.

In your mothers name we pray.

    Amen.

    Sincerely,
