All-time winningest coach to retire at season's end

    Don Meyer, at Northern State, has 922 wins in 38 seasons. He has coached the last few seasons after losing a leg and discovering he had cancer while recovering from that injury.

    Bob Knight is one of his biggest fans. Great, great coach.

    Hard to believe the all-time winningest coach would only have 1 national championship in 38 seasons.

    I'm also not sure why he is considered the NCAA all-time leader in wins, since 665 of his career victories came at the NAIA level.

    Yeah, I guess he's not technically the leader ... he sits behind Harry Statham in NAIA and Pat Summit in women's hoops. Still, pretty damn impressive.
