Ironman92No thread?
GT up 53-27 with 11:55 remaining!
Up 41-21 at the half...WOW -
reclegend22Watching this slaughter online right now on mute, while I watch Mississippi State try and take out the 'Cats.
Nice night for hoops.

slingshot4everUNC fans disappear when the team isn't playing well. There would be 5 pages of comments regarding this game if UNC was worth 2 cents this year.
-
ironman02You Dukies make me sick.
-
ironman02
The damn game isn't on TV, which means most people aren't watching it. Go talk about Kansas.slingshot4ever wrote: UNC fans disappear when the team isn't playing well. There would be 5 pages of comments regarding this game if UNC was worth 2 cents this year. -
Ironman92....I was going to post a funny about 02....but I'm not feeling it now.
-
reclegend22Iron, I'm just poking fun.
You're one of my favorites here. That's why it just tears at my heart to have to love watching you down. But I find a way ; -
ironman02Go ahead, 92. I don't mind. My comment about you Dukies was all in fun. The rest of this isn't directed at you.
My comment to slingshot, the non-stop UNC basher, was completely serious. I'm watching the game on an online feed. I didn't get to start watching it until Carolina was already down by about 20. What's the point in starting a thread?
I post about Carolina on here every single day. It's not like I'm not supporting them because they're awful this year. -
ironman02
No problem, rec. If it was Duke, I'd be having fun too.reclegend22 wrote: Iron, I'm just poking fun.

Ironman92Go to hell Sheyer!

LOL. Yes, definitely.Ironman92 wrote: Go to hell Sheyer!
I bet he scores 35 on his senior night against Carolina. No more Tyler, Ty, Danny, and Wayne. -
Ironman92Who is your all-time least favorite Dukie 02?
I'll guess JJ -
ironman02JJ is up there, but I REALLY hate Wojo.
When I have to look at him sitting there on the bench, it just makes me sick. -

wildcats20Excuse my language but...
What the fuck is going on tonight??? -
ironman02It was pretty awful, wildcats.
I haven't looked at the final box score, but I think Carolina shot less than 30% from the field and had about 25 turnovers. Everyone was pretty awful except for maybe Henson, who had 11 points, 10 rebs, 4 blks, and a steal. He's really starting to play well. Just needs to work on his jumper and free throws, and of course, eat every bit of food that he sets his eyes on. -
Laley23Good God. I think Indiana would give UNC a run for their money
UNC is starting to hurt OSU right now. That is starting to look like a BAAAAD loss for Ohio St. lol -
ironman02A Carolina-Indiana matchup would be a battle. The thing is, it would be unbearable to watch.
No doubt that Carolina's 14-12 mark isn't helping the Buckeyes. Probably won't help MSU either if they're in a battle for a 2/3 seed. After watching Carolina win both of those games, I never dreamed that they'd be this awful. -

Actually, in five games against Tyler, Ty, Danny and Wayne, Jon averaged 20.2 points and shot 30-of-63 (47%) from the field, including 13-of-27 from three (48%). Scheyer also recorded a Duke record for most points in a player's first meeting against North Carolina, 26, in 2007.ironman02 wrote:I bet he scores 35 on his senior night against Carolina. So, Scheyer is definitely a Carolina killer. He just didn't have as much help as he could have in some of those games. -
swamisezNo energy, no real commitment to excellence with this year's team.
When Carolina went five straight trips down the floor turning it over while they were down 24 the camera panned to Roy and he had this glassed over look. Almost like he wasn't even there mentally or in spirit. If my team was walking through things like them I would want to pretend I was somewhere else too.
Henson played well, but the guards are still so raw they need time to develop. This will be a decent team in the future if Drew and Strickland continue to progress. -
ironman02My comment was actually more about those guys being undefeated in Cameron, rather than holding Scheyer down. Impressive numbers for Scheyer against Carolina though.
I've never been more certain about anything in my life than I am about Scheyer winning his final game in Cameron. I wouldn't be surprised to see Duke win that game by 30+ after what I watched tonight. -
reclegend22Gotcha, iron.
Yeah, it will be more a relief (not happiness) to finally stop the Cameron drought. My God, 2005 seems like 1985. -
swamisezDuke is 20 points better than every ACC team in Cameron. Will be a great day for Duke fans, not so much for Carolina.
That being said, if Carolina puts it all together for a victory in Cameron I am gonna burn Durham to the ground. -
ironman0219-59 (32.2%) from the field.
3-15 (20.0%) from three.
10-24 (41.7%) from the free throw line.
51 Total Points.
Are you kidding me? Seriously, this is a North Carolina team?
14-12, 3-8 ACC. The NCAA Tournament is officially out of the question because there's no way this team could win the ACCT...no chance of that at all. Maybe, yes maybe, they'll make the NIT and play a few extra games that should lead to some more experience for the young guys. What an awful season to celebrate 100 years of Carolina basketball and defend a national championship.
