Virginia Tech 87, Wake Forest 83 - The Hokies take another step toward building a great NCAA resume beating Wake. They still go to Duke and Georgia Tech, but they could conceivably finish 11-5 or 12-4 in the ACC.
William & Mary 63, George Mason 60 - W&M wins at Mason, which is a very nice win. Is it safe to the say the Colonial might just be the best conference tournament this season? The top 6 teams are all good.
South Florida 65, Cincinnati 57 - Right when you think a team is buried (USF) and a team is rising (UC), this happens. Good news is, both are 6-7 in the Big East, and neither are NCAA teams as of right now. Cincy still goes to Syracuse, hosts Villanova and goes to Georgetown, so while things are tough, they have a chance for quality wins. USF goes to Nova, but their remaining schedule is easier with 3 of 5 at home and games against Rutgers, Providence, St. John's and hosting UConn.
Murray State 80, Southeast Missouri State 60 - Murray State is now 16-0 in the OVC and 25-3 overall. They host Morgan State this weekend (Bracketbusters) and then play 2 more OVC games. They are then looking at 3 possible wins in the OVC Tourney, 2 wins if they lose in the finals. 2 would put them at 30 for the year, so they are going to get an at-large bid.
Baylor 88, Texas Tech 70 - Good night to the Red Raiders, another decent win for Baylor. The Big 12 is seven deep, with Missouri and Oklahoma State likely fighting for the 6th NCAA bid from the conference.
