#13 Ohio State @ Illinois

  • Big Gain
THAT intentional foul screwed Turner out of an assist. Down 20 with 3 minutes left and you make an intentional foul on a breakaway???

Turner could have easily had 4 triple doubles on the season. Very close this game and Northwestern.
  • Big Gain
Buford hasn't reentered the game after he was taken out with his 3rd foul. I thought I noticed a slight limp when he left the floor. Did anyone else?

No limp, just his ego being hurt. He was bad today. Simmons came in and played better. So Matta kept him on the bench.

Am I the only one who think that this Ohio State bench on the floor looks like a High School JV team?

Another 20 win season for Thad. Great game today. They are really coming together as a team.

VERY impressive win by OSU today. I don't think anyone would have guessed this outcome. I thought OSU had a chance to win...but not like this!! This is HUGE with Purdue and MSU coming up. Matta doing a great job with this team!

Just because they are nearly all white doesn't mean they have to look like a high school JV team lol

Nope, your not the only one. Matta obviously thinks the same, only going with Madsen off the bench.

Not to forget that the Purdue game will be at home where we are UNDEFEATED!

    9th straight conference win.

Yes, but this game worries me. Purdue is playing very well, now has Jackson back at PG. On top of that, they will be out for revenge after their home loss to OSU. Going to be a tough game without a doubt.

Which is why we have to get Value City Arena rocking! This may be the best turnout this season.

Oh, without MSU coming to OSU this year, its the biggest game of the year. I have no doubt it will be rocking. Doesn't happen often, but I have been there for big games and it can be a great advantage with a crowd thats into it.

Do we go with the Gray Jerseys or have a 'white' out?
  • Mulva
For what it's worth, the Buckeyes have won 9 straight against Purdue at home.
  • bulldog8
Does anyone know if the Purdue or MSU games will be on national TV? As of right now, the complete schedule on ESPN indicates that neither of these games will be televised. Hard to imagine you don't televise a matchup between 2 top 10 teams in Purdue and OSU and then a game that could possibly decide the Big Ten regular season champion in OSU vs MSU.
  • Mulva
Purdue is BTN and MSU will be CBS next Sunday.

Even more reason for me to hate the BTN. Purdue vs OSU should no doubt be on ESPN, ESPN2 or CBS. Probably the biggest game of the regular season in the Big Ten.

Ohio State's 3-point shooting made this game a blowout, but their defense would have won the game even if they didn't make 11 3-point shots. The defense completely took Illinois out of the game and forced the Illini into a 4/24 night from behind the arc. Illinois came into the game shooting around 36% from the 3-point line.

Does anyone know if Buford is sick or injured?? He only played 22 minutes.

Buford played like crap. That's why he played 22 minutes.

    Buford played like crap.
He's played like crap before and still gotten his minutes.
