List of NBA Champs who played in college...

  • sportswizuhrd
in the past 20 years. Started with 89-90 Pistons until last year's Lakers.. This was brought up by the thread about Coach K coaching 1 NBA Champ. This is NOT trying to prove/disprove anything. I was just curious about it and did some research. 176 players attended college and won a ring. 24 players only attended HS or are Foreign players...here is the list sorted by College/University. Multiple winners like Horry, Duncan, Bryant, O'Neal only have 1 year listed. It is not a specific year other than that they won a title then.

I will try to do more research about who each of the college coaches were. Any corrections, please let me know.

Well as I suspected, Indiana only with 1. I wonder if any of the old timers ever got an NBA championship. I doubt it. Nice research Sportswizurd.
