  • Quint
I'm watching the OSU basketball game, and the announcers just said Pryor had surgery today? Any details?

    he should be fine

Yeah this is really "not a big deal" surgery. I mean all surgeries are a big deal, but guys have arthroscopic surgery and then play weeks later.

From what I heard, it went as well as they could have hoped.

they clean up the scar tissue and any torn cartilage and let the tendon heal on its own. Besides, if he misses a bit of spring ball, whats the big deal? its not like Bauserman or Guiton is going to pass him on the depth chart

this. hopefully after the surgery it wont look like he is hobbling every time he takes off.

Glad to hear it was just a scope! I had a scope my senior year of HS, and I was back to normal in about 3 weeks. The only problem I've encountered is a little pain in the knee right before huge storms move in.

Sure he will be fine. At halftime of the mens game a week or so ago, I heard he threw one down for shits and giggles. Dude is freakishly athletic.

Had he chose basketball, he could have played big time D-1 ball.

Pryor really is a freak athlete. He's no Lebron James. . . but he's Lebron James-like.

I'll bet people wished he would have been allowed to play for Thad Matta too

^^I think technically he was "allowed", but chose not to so he could solely focus on being a good QB.

Supposedly he only has to be off his feet for two weeks, and should be OK for spring practice.
