Sets up an absolutely huge match up @ Illinois on Valentine's Day.
Winning at Illinois is never easy. Their arena be rocking!

I know, and Im serious in how skewed your thinking is. The best player in Indiana last year (WHO WON THE STATE TOURNEY) and led his team to the #4 ranking nationally is currently on the IU roster. Not to mention they also have the runner up Mr. Basketball on the roster.

No one in 4A could hang with them. Bloomington South would be the closest (Hulls team last year) followed by Lawrence North. I lived in Indiana for 4 years and watched MANY HS ball games. They wouldnt lose.

Unless they changed something, doesn't Indiana only have 1 tournament for high school basketball? Every school plays for the same title?
No, that changed a while back. They have seperate divisions now in the state.
    that's dumb.

Not to mention, the Illini are playing great basketball right now. Coming off wins against Sparty and AT Wisky.

OSU would be 11-1 in the Big 10 had Turner not gotten hurt.

or 12-2. Even with a talent like Turner, it's never easy to win at Wisconsin.

    OSU next three games:
    @Ill
    Purdue home
    @ MSU.

Its make or break as far as contending for the Big Ten. OSU needs to win 2 of 3.

lol this Ohio State second unit looks like a JV team.

Another short guy who thinks he's LeBron.

    Id guess:

    L
    W
    L

I think they come up just short this year. Turners early injury costing them a share of the title.

and people wonder why Matta plays 6 people normally.

I think OSU has a very good chance vs ILL. Purdue at home actually worries me more then Ill on road to be honest.

Matta and Crean must not be too close? A blow-off handshake by each of them. Neither attempted to look the other in the eye.

They have a good shot for sure. I think Illinois having McCamey as their PG is the same effect as Turner for OSU. He is so big and strong and can do it all on the court.

I think ILL has a huge advantage inside with Davis and Tisdale. I think thats where the game will be won.

Crean is probably still pissed at Matta for stealing the best Indiana player, DeShaun Thomas. ;)

Most of Crean's post game handshakes are like that.

The IU board is pretty pissed about that. Said he needs to be classier than that and not blow by Matta in that fashion. Im not really sure if they have a history, no one on the IU board seems to know either.

It might have to do with some recruiting battles that only they know about.

HEY! Get it right, he isnt the best player, that kid is in the 2011 class. ANNNND it was Sampson he stole him from :D:D:D

Seriously though. Crean shakes hands like that with Calipari, Painter and Weber But those guys have reasons for it. Ive never seen a handshake like that outside of those 3 (or someone else who has criticized him in the media).
  • Laley23
^^^And truthfully, the best player(s) in the state may ALL be in the 2012 class. Depending on how they all develop. Right now, a bevy of 2012 kids are ahead of where Teague was last year, Gordon was 5 years ago, and Thomas was 2 years ago.
