Lovejoy1984Looks about right.
-
devil1197That's more like it imo.
Wisky made a huge jump into the Top 15. -
wildcats20LOL Penn St beats Indiana by 11 and moves up 5 spots. I know teams ahead of them lost and all, but come on. Everything else is OK.
-
Lovejoy1984The win over Wisky keeps looking better. And if Penn St. and Iowa both win out, that'll be 3 Top 15 teams OSU beat this year.
-
jpake1OSU could also get a top 25 victory with Navy. They're getting pretty close to cracking the top 25.
-
Tully BlanchardA loss by Texas (I dont see it happening, but thats why they play the game) would put TCU in a very prime spot to play in that National CHampionship Game if they win out.

If Cincy wins out they are above TCU for sure. That would give them a big win over a high ranked Pitt team. -
OneBuckeye^ I would too. Although I am not sure who would be better TCU or Cinci. I think TCU would be more prepared to compete with their D. But I think Kelly would come out with a studly gameplan on offense like last year.
It is nice to see 4 Big ten teams in the top 15. -
LeonardoOh, where we could be if we hadn't lost to Purdue (or USC, for that matter)...
-
wildcats20Without the 2 losses, the Bucks would probably be number 4 right now.
-
slingshot4everPoll looks good to me.

End of LineLooks okay to me.

If you're not, you must be thinking of the wrong bowl game since Cincy scored 6 points in their BCS game last year. -

This season is working out to be almost the perfect storm for TCU to make the NC game. IMO, Cincy's defense will be their downfall against Pitt, causing them to lose a game, and Pitt won't move up high enough because they lost to a relatively unimpressive team earlier this year. So needing Texas to lose is really the only component left to complete what needs to happen for TCU to make a strong case. Texas's biggest game before the Big12 championship is Texas A&M. A&M is only 5-5, but they've lost two games by a combined 6 points. If they beat Baylor this weekend, they'll have 6 wins, and that means their game against Texas will likely decide if they make a bowl or not. Add in the fact that it is a rivalry, and it is played on special day (like every year, friday after thanksgiving) and it's a HOME game, and it will probably be a lot closer than most people think. I'm by no means saying it will happen, but historically A&M plays Texas very tough, especially at home, and this year will probably be the same way. It'll definately be a game with a lot of ramifications for both teams...if Texas loses and TCU wins out (and inevitably, Alabama or Florida must lose), they'll be hard pressed to keep TCU out of the NC game. They'll be a lot of people that have a shit fit if an undefeated TCU team gets left out, esp. as impressive as they've been lately, in favor of a 1 loss Texas or SEC team.Tully Blanchard wrote: A loss by Texas (I dont see it happening, but thats why they play the game) would put TCU in a very prime spot to play in that National CHampionship Game if they win out. -
Cleveland BuckTexas A&M lost by 9 touchdowns to Oklahoma. I don't think Texas is in any danger there.

Just two years ago, Texas A&M was blasted by Oklahoma 42-14, then turned around and beat Texas, which was their second upset in a row of the Longhorns. The two years before that, A&M was pretty ordinary and gave Texas a game. I wouldn't put money on them, but like a lot of rivalries you can't really gauge how the game is going to go based on other results.Cleveland Buck wrote: Texas A&M lost by 9 touchdowns to Oklahoma. If you're not, you must be thinking of the wrong bowl game since Cincy scored 6 points in their BCS game last year. Oklahoma was supposed to be a great team but there not. You can not look at what a team did the year before and judge them on it now. That is unfair.
That's funny I though it was 2009, O wait it is. See this is the problem with the BCS. What happened last year means nothing in college football. -
bo shemmy3337
That is correct and with one loss they would be around 5 or 6 IMO. Cincy is going to go to the tittle if they win out and Texas looses. Mark it down.wildcats20 wrote: Without the 2 losses, the Bucks would probably be number 4 right now. -
wags6817Who will beat Texas?

Cleveland Buck
True, but 9 touchdowns a different than 4 touchdowns. It takes a special kind of suck to lose a game by 9 touchdowns.Just two years ago, Texas A&M was blasted by Oklahoma 42-14, then turned around and beat Texas, which was their second upset in a row of the Longhorns. Point taken. I might be wishfully thinking.Cleveland Buck wrote:

Ha ha, in fact, I'll even go so far as to also point out that in 2003 A&M lost to Oklahoma 77-0........and then lost to Texas 46-15.
