E-Twaun Moore, Purdue- Had 25 pts and 6 assists last night @ MSU. He had a couple of clutch baskets down the stretch and an awesome pass to Robbie Hummell for an easy lay-up. It seems to me the media focuses more attention on Hummell and JaJuan Johnson than Moore despite the fact that Moore has led Purdue in scoring in all three of his seasons (12.9, 13.8, and 17.5 so far this year).
I think he is somewhat similar to Michael Redd when he was at a Ohio State. Not a spectacular outside shooter, though solid (Redd obviously changed that in the NBA), but a player who is just a flat out scorer. Moore can score in a variety of ways and the Spartans had no answer for him last night.
