    who did LSU win with?

did UGA lose worse than A&M or OSU, or are you not ranking them?
  • devil1197
UGA had a lot of decommits I think.

OSU will be fine. They are loaded next year and the 2011 class looks great starting out. If OSU adds even Anderson I'll be content.

this is just your opinion, right? subway trolls

only time will tell if your class pans out,ala '07,'08,'09....

just a list, no quantitative ranking...

lsu landed 4* ego ferguson and 4* jc copeland (both out of the blue)

semi-unexpected: fobbs 4* WR and boone 4* (former florida commit)

    everyone else signed as expected
  • j_crazy
what about Tennessee? I heard they are landing Chaz Green. that's a huge get for them.

yeah, i was going to add them as well to the winners category....

although they lost JC copeland to LSU, they are still doing well...especially considering the circumstances

Who did nd add on nsd besides James (who was a lock anyway)?

Oh, I missed him. I generally look at rivals and they have him as a 3* so i didn't notice.

    yeah, hes *raw*

big frame to put weight on, long wingspan, athletic...he will be a work in progress though....

i think scout ranks more on potential, rivals ranks more on actual current talent. jmo.

Biggest winner is the PAC 10.

    Biggest loser is Ohio State.

^^^I won't touch that last comment....

    not what a lot of us expected,but we'll play with the cards we're dealt--but there's still hope(albeit slim)for SH

They've signed 18 players, 10 of which are 2 or 3 star recruits.

    8 4-star recruits, no 5 star recruits.

They'e signed ONE offensive lineman, the one position on their team where they need quality depth, they didn't improve in this year's class.

They've lost out on 3 recruits today, probably will be more by the end of the day.

I'm not saying I'm worried at all or anything like that, because we're already loaded...but when the most excited part of our class is the kicker we got, it's a rather weak class.
  • devil1197
    Are you f'n serious?

I'd take some time and go research James Louis, Christian Bryant, Corey Brown, Roderick Smith, and Carlos Hyde just to name a few and then see who is the most exciting in the class.

I bet you are just looking at rivals/scout rankings before making judgement. And you say no worries because we are already loaded. Guess what, its with a large amount of 3-4 star recruits.

indeed, its a pretty weak class by ohio state standards...still, they are okay as long as a trend doenst continue.

being out-recruited by michigan and notre is never a good sign considering how shitty their respective seasons were last year.

One has to wonder if OSU coaches just take the last few months off from recruiting. Seems like other coaches are pushiing hard to get these kids and we just stand idle.

I understand the whole if they dont want to come here thought process but if you arent showing them the interest that other people are then that definately may be a big reason they wont want to come there.

Oh, well. Hopefully we clean up next year.

I like the name of UC's new QB. 6'4 185 pound dual threat out of Louisiana.

Tressel has consistently brought in top 5/10 classes. People areon't happy because they supposedly finishing strong. I am not sure I agree with that comment as they typically are starting VERY well. They shouldn't be judged by the FEW REMAINING recruits who are undecided.
This class is a bit "down" by OSU standards, but still not bad. One class will not hurt so bad. I am confident they will bounce back next year with a good class.
BTW, how can you determine winners/losers when the day is not yet finished? lol

If he pronounces his last name lego then that is great.

Not counting the top 3 or 4 top rated classes we won't know who the winners or losers are for a couple of years. There are too many players who bomb as 5*'s and flourish as 3*'s.Sometimes it is about attitude and work ethic and not about the stars next to the name.
  • Azubuike24
Hate to say it, but Charlie Strong did a good job at salvaging Louisville's class. It's only a top 50 class or so, but compared to what Kragthorpe did, it's a big step up, and compared to where it ranked just 2-3 months ago, it's nothing short of a miracle.

The biggest winner I've seen is the Pac 10. They brought in a lot of quality classes. Obviously, the SEC flat out dominated recruiting again with 8 of the top 20 classes.

A pretty bad showing for the Big 10, especially Ohio State and Wisconsin.

The ACC, as a whole, didn't do to bad either.

AZ, OSU really didn't have a bad showing but it could have been better (still a chance with Henderson or Anderson). OSU is what in the middle teens right now with only 18 recruits. Their average is 3.61 and that is better than every single team from 10-16 in front of themand even better than some in the Top 10. Its the fact that they only had 20 scholarships to hand out without trying to squeeze guys in. They just don't have the quantity of 25+ like the majority do outside of PSU and USC.
