Breaking News on ESPN!!!

Fly4FunUrban Meyer "is expected to take a run here later today."
Yes, that was reported on ESPN... WHAT THE HELL!
(This wasn't breaking news, but they did report it) -
gorocks99Gotta clear his mind of all the foretelling dreams he had last night.
-
mucalum49Can't wait for the ESPN Reporter to run up along side him and ask him on how he came to this big decision. Then Urban will reply "I just felt like runnin"
-
THE4RINGZMaybe he will change his mind while he is lacing up his running shoes.
-
Trueblue23He should take a run down 75 into oncoming traffic.

TODD_PACKERMaybe he should coach a game against t OSU and pound them.........oh wait

oberhausWhat a TOOL. ESPN has a huge hard on for Meyer. And they don't try to hide it. Its clearly sticking out there.
-
jspitaleriNow that signing day is over, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take that LOA. Get the kids in that maybe considered leaving after his announcement and then take the time off.

haha. I bet it was a coincidence that this happened immediately after signing day as well. Nice strategic moves in the last month by Florida to keep that recruiting class intact.september63 wrote: Florida's D Coordinator hired by Meyer just 27 days ago has left the program to take the same job with the Buffalo Bills. -

ironman02, Edwards was here less than a month. He was barely involved in any recruiting. He's getting big money and a 4:15 pudding break every day in Buffalo. ( link ) Florida signed 3 LB's, and none of them chose Florida because of George Edwards. He told the A.D. on Tuesday there was only a 50/50 chance he would even interview, if he was asked. That night and the next day, when Buffalo announced it, Edwards would not answer his phone calls from the Florida staff. He just ' up and left '. Very unprofessional IMO.ironman02 wrote:

ironman02Thanks for the info, speedofsand. I had read that he didn't have much of a role in recruiting specific players.
I just meant that it looked better for the program to have a D-coordinator in place to promote stability within the program when that stability was being questioned due to Meyer's LOA. Now that everyone is signed, there's no extra risk in losing any of them because they're worried about the staff. The athletic department, in my opinion, did a pretty good job of damage control during all the coaching issues as of late. -
SpeedofsandI don't like the way it looks either, no Gator fan does. I am more disappointed that Meyer was supposed to start his leave that day and the DC up and quits. He will work from the same list of coaches he had last month when he hired Edwards. Not only is it a difficult time to find a specific coach, they will focus on finding a minority to fill the vacancy or be criticized by the activists. Could be a db or lb or dc coach.

Falcons53Will this be Myers first time having a "second QB" run his offense? I don't count the guy who started when he got to Fla, he was already there and was a SR.

Shane FalcoIs Timmy going to join him?
