I'll take the under. 3-1 OOC and 4-4 in the Big Ten. Assuming there are 2 BCS teams, the Capital One and Gator Bowls take the 3rd and 4th teams, Michigan should get blown out by an SEC team in the Outback Bowl or a Big XII team in the Insight Bowl.

I'm on the fence, but I'll the over with 8 wins.

Don't sleep on UCONN. If I recall they return like 20 of their 22 starters next season and many of the way earlier prognostications have them finishing in the top 3 of the BE next season. Randy Edsall is a fine coach. They will offer a stern opening game challenge to the Wolverines. I say they go 7-5 during the regular season and depending on who they match up in a bowl game they could go over.

I'm gonna go with 8 wins.

I have a bad feeling we will lose to UConn and it will all be downhill from there.

    I hope I'm wrong.
  • dat dude
    Over. 8 regular season wins.
  • OldDanTucker
7 or 8 wins not sure if they beat UCONN or not. (sad that its come to that at UM)
  • 0311sdp
If they lose to UCONN and ND (Ithink they will beat ND) 2-2 OOC possibly 3-1, I see 5 BT games that it is very possible Mich will lose (Mich State, Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State) They could be as bad as 5-7 but probably no better than 7-5 with the Bowl game deciding the over/under. I would feel better about Michigan's chances to improve more if they had a defense.

    11-2 including a bowl win.
  • SQ_Crazies
Over, I think 8 or 9 wins. Won't be surprised if they go under though.
  • cbus4life
    7 wins.

    That is a great line...

9/4 vs. Connecticut - Push, not sure who UCONN loses from a pretty good team, could be a tough game.
9/11 at Notre Dame - Loss, they will have a lights out passing game and michigans secondary is young and vunerable.
    9/18 vs. Massachusetts - Win
9/25 vs. Bowling Green - Win
10/2 at Indiana - Win, even though they barely won this past year.
10/9 vs. Michigan State - Loss, MSU will be better next year
    10/16 vs. Iowa - Loss
10/30 at Penn State - Loss - They could win this depending on how Penn states new QB develops, but PSUs running game will be good.
11/6 vs. Illinois - Win - Illinois could be decent or very bad it is hard to tell.
11/13 at Purdue- Loss - Purdue will surprise again.
    11/20 vs. Wisconsin - Loss
    11/27 at Ohio State -Loss

    Worst Case 4-8
Best Case 8-4 Sure Losses vs OSU, Wisconsin, Iowa and MSU.

Even with a bowl game I am going to go under. I think they win 7.

    Under- like 5-7 under.

Think about it- (read this on Bucknuts): they're losing Minor and Brown, their 2 best RB's, along with Greg Mathews, their #1 (or #2) receiver. But it's not on offense where they'll struggle.

From an already bad defense, they're losing B. Graham (best overall defender), Stevie Brown (leading tackler), and Donovan Warren (early to the NFL). Their secondary was already shaky, and they're losing their 2 best DB's. Add to that, they're losing one of the nation's best punters in Zoltan Mesko.

Unless they score 35+ a game, they will struggle.

I will admit that I was optimistic last summer for the 2009 season. I am not very optimistic at all about 2010. :(

They also have alot of young unproven talent that will be upgrades imo. With the exception of Grahm and Mesko none of those guys will be missed to much.

    Minor-always hurt
Carlos Brown- always hurt wasn't that great to begin with
Stevie Brown- Couldn't cover to save his life
Donavon Warren- Was good at the start of the year but later on was getting toasted (will be missed at times but is easily replaced)
BG-do i need to say anything?
Mathews-Seriously? I think UM will be fine having Roundtree, Stonum, Odums, and Hemingway(when healthy)

7 wins is all RR needs to stay another year and I think he gets it. Following year 9 or 10 win season.
