LOL. Of course at skilled positions, which is obviously NOT what I'm talking about. Maybe I'm giving you more credit about your knowledge than I should have. I thought it was pretty apparent our lines were a step behind, maybe it was just me.rocket31 wrote:
tebow is projected to be one of the top 5 quarterbacks taken this year, no offense, but i dont get your point here.queencitybuckeye wrote: Tebow is the obvious (but far from the only) example proving that. It's just too different a game.
the examples may exist but they are few and far between.
anyways, quick, fast, explosive but *small* players get drafted in the first round all time. ytown's point was not a very good one.

Based on what? This is terrible logic, because you are predicting the future with no cause. If Tressel goes on to win 14 Big Ten championships, and 5 more National titles, how can he not be better?Elliot Stabler wrote: He's not even close to Woody...and NEVER will be
Same stupid logic that people use to justify Micheal Jordan will never be surpassed, this is all an unknown. It could very well happen, and in that case, I know of at least one player who I'd put above Jordan.
If you say Lebron James....I will hunt you down and beat the shit out of you -

WriterbuckeyeI'll see Jordan and raise you one Bill Russell.
I saw them both play -- and there is NO doubt in my mind that Russell is the greatest player to ever put on a pair of sneakers. He has the stats, wins and titles to back it up.

WriterbuckeyeAs for this thread...
If JT wins another couple titles and continues collecting Big Ten titles, he will go down as the second best coach in the history of the program -- with an outside chance to be first. In fact, I'd probably put him second right now.
Woody had the advantage of unlimited scholarships and a college landscape that did not include the parity that now exists. When you include that factor into the equation, it narrows things even more. -

I notice you're not having trouble backing out parts of quotes you wish not to include today as you were stressing about mightily yesterday.rocket31 wrote:
