OSU fans ... which scenario would you prefer?

  • BigAppleBuckeye
Picture it, January, 2011, National Championship game. Which scenario would you prefer:

(A)Ohio State pummels Boise State 31-3, as Terrell Pryor combines for 400 all-purpose yards and 3 scores ...

    OR

(B)Ohio State beats Florida 24-23, as Pryor connects with DeVier Posey with 1 second left in regulation for a 13-yard TD to upend the Gators ...

I think I would prefer the "revenge win" over Florida rather than the blowout win over Boise State, who many will whine about being undeserving anyway. Thoughts?

a NC is a NC, i don't care who you beat to get it.

Being a Florida fan id prefer to watch the 2nd one. Hasnt been a good national championship game in a couple years.

Without a doubt Florida...that would just be so refreshing.

Or C) OSU beats Florida by 3 touchdowns. That would be my vote.

    B

Beating Florida would be sweet. Ohio State is supposed to beat Boise State.

Just win baby. No such thing as a "revenge game", beating Florida doesn't erase the earlier loss.

Definitely B... But a National Championship is a National Championship.

C - None of the Above

You dont have to worry about beating anybody in the National Championship Game

Are there any posts where you aren't an asshat?

Definately not A.....if that were to happen, it would be all over the 4-letter network that OSU had a cupcake schedule to win the NC.

    I'll take both.

let's slow down... got 12 games to win before we even think about those possibilities.....

    This.

I'd pick the second one because close games are just more exciting. Although let's be honest, Boise State has a much better chance of making it to the BCS title game this year than Florida does.

The first one. I'm an OSU and Florida fan and I pulled hard core for OSU last time, but after that game I said I never wanted those two teams to meet for a national championship again (and then of course 3 months later in April they do).

Here's my choice: "Last night, the Ohio State Buckeyes stomped a mudhole in the ass of the Florida Gators, then proceeded to walk the bitch dry." Down by 4 touchdowns mid-way through the 3rd quarter, Urban Meyer was seen bent over, one hand clutching his head, the other his ass, while whining loudly "where's my Timmy?"

Either way is a lose situation for OSU

Beat Florida - Media says we beat an overmatched team that had no experience and had a new QB
Beat Boise - Just a mid-major, they still couldn't beat a team from the SEC.

Either way, OSU would still be hated on by the media, rather than being praised for winning a nat'l championship.

    In your dreams.

Give me a BCS win and I'm happy.....a national title, although I don't see it happening, would just be icing on the cake.
