Austin Freeman, and it's not close.

    Freeman

The way Freeman dominated that game offensively, against the opponent and it being such a comeback, honors have to go to him.

Don't count out Sherron Collins if he has a huge game in Knoxville today though.

    Freeman. Not even close.

I might even choose something outside of the box -- as sometimes is done in these types of situations -- and give it to the team from Knoxville. What they did by grouping together and overcoming the ridiculous transgressions of three of their players and beating top-ranked Kansas, when nobody else gave them a shot, is really superb.

Walk-on Skylar McBee might have saved Tennessee's season with that late shot clock three, too. Had the Vols folded against the Jayhawks there at the end, I could have foreseen a shaky road for the Vols and Pearl over the next few weeks. With the win, Tennessee is right back on track with all the confidence in the world. I give the POTW to McBee and Tennessee.
