Bama proudly displaying their BCS Trophy for fans
-
SpeedofsandBama has decided to show off their new trophy to their fans today. Obviously they picked a locale where most Bama fans could be found on a Saturday……..
They don’t pick the coliseum (for a basketball game or gymnastics meet)…….they don’t pick the athletic department or student activities building…………...
they pick Wal-Mart.
You just can’t make this stuff up

ytownfootballIt's SEC country. Nothing but high class for the SEC and it's fans.
SEC! SEC! SEC! -
krambmanWhen OSU won the title in 2002 they displayed the trophy for fans to be photographed with at two different Circuit City locations in Columbus. Circuit City was the sponsor of the trophy at the time (like Dr. Pepper is now) so it made sense to do it there since they were sponsoring the events too.

jordo212000Sponsorship anybody? When somebody gives you a crap ton of money, you do what they say. In the instance you put on display in a few of their stores. Sounds fair to me.

darbypitcher22Yeah, OSU displayed the trophy.... didn't go to see it then but got to see it and touch it up close at WHAC one time...

SpeedofsandI got my pics taken at the Gator's stadium, outside the campus bookstore(hoops), and at the Florida Georgia game.
They never took it around to Sears, but it would have made sense like Circuit City.

mucalum49The thread with all the pics is hilarious. This is another good one:

Not sure what's funnier about this....the fact that Bammer is the only one to sink this low (or for their fanbase, go this high class), or someone from Youngstown looking down their nose at anyone else.ytownfootball wrote: It's SEC country. Nothing but high class for the SEC and it's fans.

I don't hail from Youngstown either but that obviously doesn't matter to someone of your intellect.
