*Best game this Bowl season?

  • killer_ewok
I'm going with Auburn-Northwestern in the Outback Bowl. Tigers beat the Wildcats 38-35 in OT. More twists and turns than one could imagine.

Runner-up: Idaho over Bowling Green 43-42 in the Humanitarian Bowl. A 2-point conversion to win the game. BALLS.

Honorable Mention: Central Michigan over Troy 44-41 in 2OT.

What are your top games from this Bowl season?

*The BCS title game isn't over yet and it's getting GOOD.

I'm still excluding the title game from my list. It ended up being a pretty decent game but the star power potential that it lost when McCoy went down really put a damper on the game.

    1. alabama - texas

    exhibition games are meaningless

    I'll say Pitt-UNC

wasn't a lot of big plays or anything but a pretty even fight

    Pitt won 19-17

I'll go with the Outback Bowl, as well. Ten turnovers, 1100 yards of offense, and six fourth down conversion attempts makes for a good game in my book.

LOL. Yeah, not necessarily well played but damn if it wasn't exciting and a roller coaster ride of a game. It didn't lack drama. That's for sure.

    They are all exhibition games.

I would go Idaho vs Bowling Green as the best game.

Wisconsin vs Miami (fla) was a great performance by Wisconsin.

Not saying this should be considered but the Outback Bowl was a helluva way to start off the New Year's Day Bowl games.

I enjoyed the Rose Bowl more than any other

A pretty good game but OSU kept some distance between themselves and Oregon for a good portion of the game.

    Idaho-BG

    OSU - Oregon

idaho vs bg was the best bowl game this year
  • karen lotz
gotta go with idaho/BG and tonight's game. The Northwestern/Auburn game was a good one but was just too sloppily played to be considered the best game. Exciting, yes. Best, no.
  • FairwoodKing
I'll vote for Central Michigan-Troy as the best. But I am an MAC person so I am probably biased.
  • BoatShoes
I liked the Idaho v. BG game the best with the Northwestern v. Auburn game a close second. Too bad the teams I was pulling for in both games couldn't pull off a win.

For me it was...TADA; tOSU vs Oregon!!! Been a long dry spell in many ways, BCS win-4 yrs...Rose Bowl win-12(?)yrs
Then Iowa vs GT, Penn ST vs LSU, and then Wisconsin vs Miami (FL)!

No. This may have been the most boring NC game I've seen in the last 10 years.

Other than the few minutes that Texas scored TD's to make it within 3, it was a snoozer.

    Outback Bowl
    Humanitarian Bowl

Those are the two I can really remember
