Alabama vs clemson for the title.

  • thavoice
Before the playoff started I thought it was going to be alabama easily but after this game I think we are in for a great title game next week. Bama will be favored but I think it goes down to the wire and I would not be surprised to see clemson winning it all.

I think Bama wins but rooting for Clemson.

Can't believe it, but I'm rooting for Dabo.

Honestly, I kinda have a feeling that Clemson is gonna win this thing.

To add some fun speculation and intrigue, Alabama and Kiffin just officially parted ways, so instead of coaching their O through the playoffs, he just did one round and exited via "mutual agreement".

This is so weird. I'd love to hear what's going on behind the scenes with this situation.

He hates Saban. Saban hates him. The same thing will happen with Sark in a few years too.

Read he was late to almost every team meeting the last week, too.

He probably wanted to piss saban off a few more times before he left. And saban probably said to fuck off.

Saban's players are just like his coaching staff. None of them love him, but they love the results. They are willing to tolerate him for the opportunities he creates (getting drafted, playing on a national stage every year, HC gigs, etc).

    Absolutely agree with this.

Can we agree after three years of the playoffs there is no way they should ever be expanded? We've only had one game of the six be less than a 3 possession game

So you're saying Saban = Bud?

Well said. His players all stud athletes all their life and he won't accept error. He's brutal and I imagine hard to deal with. I could see a coordinator calling 19 straight defensive calls and then all working and then the opponent make a great play to pick up a 3rd and 8 and Saban down his throat for two days about it.

They interviewed Bama players and they talked about how they catch themselves saying things they hear "coach" say because he literally says the same things over and over.

    Saban's daughter cut Layne off.

I did my best in trying to put a reverse curse on Clemson by making this at halftime of the OSU game, but it didnt work.

Not sure what to think about them having a new OC for the game. Usually I would say it is a bad thing, but some coaches (saban, belicheck) get their team's up when some controversy swirls.
I give Bama about a 68% chance to win it.

Anyone else not give a shit about this game and likely won't watch but a few minutes - if that.

Why does Clemson not have a capital C in the thread title?

Why not? It has very good indications of being good football.

Potentially good football you say? Well, that changes everything. Let me just clear my schedule....

I just don't care for Alabama. Actually leaning towards disliking them. I think they'll beat Clemson, who I also couldn't care less for.
