A guarantee every year is Sparty going about 2 rounds further than anyone expects. Then this happens (most likely)

How can the nets be such a damn problem at this tournament site? Ridiculous.

    It's absolutely amazing.

Now MTSU can't miss from the FT line. Hilarious.

I lost my national champion on the first day of the tournament two years in a row in 2012 and 2013 (Duke and Georgetown). This year I only have two Final Four teams left (I had Arizona and Seton Hall). You'd think I'd have never watched the sport before lol.

Msu gave up 90.. that's crazy. You'd think of msu scores 81, they're winning every time.

Middle Tennessee State is going to beat Syracuse. Especially if they shoot even close to as well as they did today.

Denzel Valentine got exposed big time in this game. He is NOT a point guard. He looked rattled against the 1-3-1 zone and had 3 or 4 just awful turnovers. He also got in foul trouble.

Don't worry though, this MSU team is playing so well, they can win without talent.

Not top 25 talent, not a top 32 team left in the dance. #Classy'd

They'll shoot 30% and get beat by 20.

Tigers spring training. He was too focused on their incredible Grapefruit League lineup he didn't catch the MSU game.
  • sportchampps
I mean have you seen that lineup

If Butler can slip past Virginia, I think there is a very high likelihood that the Bulldogs will make their third Final Four in seven years, which would really just be incredible.

'93 Arizona was a better team relative to the time than these guys.

Dude, MSU made 11 threes themselves (Middle Tennessee made 11).

Sparty got out-played the whole game. Valentine showed why he is good, not at all an elite talent. He got bothered by a Conference USA 1-3-1 zone. He had a decent game, but 6 turnovers, 2 of them in key moments in the second half that led to MTSU growing their lead.

Again Classy...where was the "rest of the talent" for MSU? Davis and Costello, the only other 2 potential pros...Forbes, a great shooter, and Denzel? Harris his a few shots, but again, MSU simply didn't have enough. For much of the game, MTSU was the more athletic and talented team.
