Ohio State at Rutgers - 10/24 - 8pm
-
AutomatikA primetime game that will surely be a clownstomping. OSU is giving 22.
Who will be the QB? Please just name JT$ the starter and stop this rotating nonsense.
There are ton of OSU supporters in the area and I expect we will take that place over. I will be in attendance, tickets in section 120. Tiernan...where are yours? I'm going with nonexistent.
I still have to figure out how the hell to get there and what pregame activities to partake.

like_thatHow does Rutgers get all these prime time games?
-
AutomatikIt's official, JT named the starter.

lakeflyerMikeNow that the question is answered, I'll give the points and take the over.

If it's on the BTN, it's because of Delany's hard-on for the New York market. No matter how bad they suck at everything all the time, they'll probably get sweet TV slots.like_that;1758078 wrote:How does Rutgers get all these prime time games? -
AutomatikIt's on ABC.
I can't recall BTN ever airing a primetime game. -

I think Rutgers/MSU and Rutgers/PSU were primetime BTN games this season.Automatik;1758087 wrote:It's on ABC.

sleeperOSU will win the game. No longer try to believe we will blow anyone on the mainland out anymore.
But we will win. -
IggyPride00Cardale needs to cut out of his life anyone involved in the hair brained scheme to get him to come back to school this year.
It's been the equivalent of taking a duffel bag full of money and throwing it out the window on the highway at a high rate of speed. -

They might score 60 on Saturday. -
SportsAndLadyAuto, can't remember what the train was called but I used to take it to and from NYC and New Brunswick. Unfortunately you gotta drive about 10 min to Piscataway but I'm sure they have uber there now maybe you could do that.
I've taken many a drunk train rides on that route before. -
AutomatikNJ Transit NE Corridor line to New Brunswick, then a bus to campus. An hour and 48 min commute one way from where I'm crashing in Manhattan. That return trip should be swell.

wildcats20A small part of me believes that JT hasn't been 100% yet and that is why Cardale was named the starter.
I wanted Cardale to be the starter going into the season. I fully expected him to pick up right where he left off, but he has been bad this year. The offense is built for a guy like JT, which is why they were so successful last season. -
AutomatikYou could say the entire team was "bad" up until last Saturday.

If they can't score 60 against NIU then they won't score 60 against anyone.Automatik;1758119 wrote:What?

AutomatikWhat's your prediction?

This has been my thought all along. JT is much better suited to this offense. Cardale is a square peg in a round hole at QB in this system. He's better in a pro style system.wildcats20;1758128 wrote:A small part of me believes that JT hasn't been 100% yet and that is why Cardale was named the starter.
Said it before and will actually agree with Iggy, Cardale cost himself millions staying another year. -

This is a game the Bucks should put up 60+. They probably won't, but they should.Automatik;1758266 wrote:What's your prediction?

I don't get why people keep saying this regarding losing money. Would he have really been picked THAT high last year? Or was it just a result of the ESPN hype machine? I would have said 4-5th round.BR1986FB;1758271 wrote:This has been my thought all along. JT is much better suited to this offense. Cardale is a square peg in a round hole at QB in this system. He was a projected 2nd/3rd rounder. Some dummies had him going late 1st. An NFL QB starved (see Browns) team would've taken a flyer on him. Right now, I'd probably burn a 6th on him and hope to find lightning in a bottle.Automatik;1758275 wrote:I don't get why people keep saying this regarding losing money. AutomatikI'm saying anywhere from 2-4 next year.
In most position rankings he's third, behind Goff and Cook. -

I don't know where he is right now, but I was reading a couple weeks ago (after the non-conference games) that McShay still had him late first round, while Kiper didn't. That means that I'd be guessing that unless he bombs at the combine, he'd still go pretty high. Definitely not sixth-round material. Being a big guy with a cannon for an arm will have a lot more to do with his future earning power than what he does this year just because NFL people will just look at the potential and excuse his college play on overall rawness.BR1986FB;1758281 wrote:He was a projected 2nd/3rd rounder. I think he went from being a 1st or 2nd round pick to a 3rd or 4th rounder. I think he gets drafted in the 3rd round in next year's draft.Automatik;1758275 wrote:I don't get why people keep saying this regarding losing money.
