Final Predictions - OSU Footbll

sleeperUndefeated?
B1G Champion?
National Champion?
Heisman Winner?
My answer is yes to all of the above. 15-0. B1G champ, National Champ, Zeek Heisman winner.
Thoughts? Predictions? -
MulvaThe team is loaded and the schedule is not. Anything less than 13-0 heading into the playoffs would be a disappointment.
-
AutomatikI'm with sleeper, but JT$ gets that trophy.

sleeper
I think JT gets hurt again and Cardale steps up to the plate, puts the team on his back, and carries us to another title. Then Cardale is drafted #1 overall by the Cleveland Browns where he wins multiple Super Bowls, MVPs, and ends up being elected President of the United States. He's got my vote.Automatik;1748471 wrote:I'm with sleeper, but JT$ gets that trophy. -
fish8213-1...bounced in the semis.

vdubb96I'd love to see a repeat, it's just too damn hard to do. I hope I'm wrong. I see them making the playoffs though.
-
DeyDurkie5Urban Meyer. Enough said. Undefeated. National title.
-
HereticBaring a major personnel fuck-up, undefeated regular season. Any single-elimination playoff is a crapshoot, but talent-wise they're the best team in the country barring major ineligibility issues, so I'm more than just a little optimistic.
-
AutomatikIt's still a surreal feeling when reading various media outlets regarding OSU repeating and it's pretty much the consensus. It's fucking crazy.
I was so sick of the widespread SEC nutswinging and OSU "can't play with the big boys" blah blah....I never thought this day would come. -
Azubuike24They "should" repeat, but Florida State was in a similar situation last year. They had a lot returning from a team who was actually great before people expected them to be. Last year, a bunch of issues came up, they were complacent and uninterested most of the season and always found a way to win because they were mostly superior. Then they don't show up in the bowl game and get blasted.
Jimbo Fisher is no Urban Meyer though. That's the big difference. -
TiernanOdds are against a repeat but I'm thinking locksville on making the play-off due to the schedule. Zeke has a great opportunity to win the Heisman. MSU game looms as a huge spoiler. The WR position worries me and I'm concerned with the overall attitude based on 4 starters already screwing up. Monday night will reveal whether these concerns are legit or just nerves.
-
SonofanumpThey will not have a Heisman candidate, the stars should only see the field in 32 of the first 48 quarters.
-
Spock13-0 and then lose to a SEC team

SportsAndLadyUndefeated and don't lose a game by less than a TD
-
Uz2Bon36They lose one game this year and hopefully it is early.
-
slingshot4everOnly team that could get them early is tonight. Next game I could see them dripping is PSU, but even that is a stretch. 15-0, back to back titles.

j_crazyi'll say this, in my lifetime 2 national titles were brought to columbus. both were brought in years when no one said the team could win. i've seen several years where the buckeyes have been the team that can't lose and they lost every time. plus the sting of 2007 and 2008 are still fresh, i can't in good faith predict an undefeated season with a national title, a heisman, a butkus award, etc. i'll say they lose to MSU, miss the playoffs and come back next year and win it all.
