And you are making excuses how he's a kid and adults have corrupted him and gave him a way out.

And where he grew up, where many don't have a clue about, is the same inner city that you understand so well right?

Talk about talking out of both sides of your mouth....
Where is he blamed? Well, last I checked, he was in charge of the mens basketball program, the same program that had to vacate their final four. Is it that hard to understand?

Where did the NCAA say Rose cheated? You are kidding right?

They vacated the Final Four because one of their players cheated, not because the University cheated or lied.

This in lies my whole problem with the NCAA. Punish an University because a player cheated without your knowing.

No I am not. They NEVER mentioned Rose by name. Just as the never mentioned Cal by name. Again, you want to play by YOUR rules. What a joke you are.

I'll ask TWO questions, and I want direct answers:

    Who was held responsible?

Who was in charge of the program that was held responsible?

That I don't disagree with. But, again, there was MORE then jsut the player involvement in this case. You know it, and I know it. You'll just never admit it.

All I will say is the basketball coach, contrary to popular belief, is NOT completely responsible for the basketball program. He might be an influential figure, have hands-on control over a lot of things and have the perception of being in control, but he isn't. There are others above him that are just as accountable for what happened at Memphis. My question is...why aren't their names being mentioned in the media? Easy. Nobody knows, or cares who they are. Cal is the easy target and notable figure here.

Easy target and notable figure.....AND the COMMON figure in BOTH cases. Not just once, but twice. And as the head coach, he hires all those that work within the basketball program, his hires. Along with that, all coaches gauge who "hangs" around the program, no question about that. And NO, I don't buy your program comments. Maybe in football, with 100+ players, and the "size" of a big time program. Its not that way with basketball. The big time head coaches, are IN CHARGE of the program, no question about it.
I realize he is "your" head coach and your going to support him. And thats fine. But prior to coming to UK, there is NO question about all the circumstances that surrounded the other two college programs he ran. Anyway, done here. I have my opinion on Cal based on quite a bit of things that are without question, VERY questionable. If I were a UK fan...I'd be very nervous. Although I do feel at this time, and being at UK..that he won't have to cheat to win.
