You can't prove an obviously bias opinion wrong or right. You said the USC teas would have crushed any Big East team (which is an opinion based on nothing, and then you claim that the Oklahoma win wasn't good despite OU widely being recognized as one of the best in the country). -

That's not the point. The point is that he made a big deal about how USF and NIU were tied.ytownfootball wrote: NIU....NIU...
I'm just pointing out that USF beat the hell out of NIU in the 2nd half. Not that NIU is anything special. -
OldDanTuckerThen give me your opinion on 1 Big east team that could have beat USC in one of the 2 years I mentioned. Oklahoma may have been favored but you can not ignore the fact that under stoops they have not won a bcs bowl game since 2002.

Which is my point, and the point in general about how weak the Big East is and has been. A bowl win against NIU is hardly worthy of note.DaBrowns41 wrote:

I can't say who would have beat who or whatever. It's stupid to try to compare teams like that as it is mostly about match up and not necessarily opponent.OldDanTucker wrote: Then give me your opinion on 1 Big east team that could have beat USC in one of the 2 years I mentioned. Doesn't change how good Oklahoma is/was that one year. -

No... I understand your point. I'm just explaining that the poster was making that post a bit premature.ytownfootball wrote:

You don't need to make your point. Everybody knows that NIU is nothing special. -
