Fucking shit, I really need to learn who is in what conference, lol. Could have used him instead of James Woodard. No idea who is in the lower conferences.

    G, Jarvis Summers, Ole Miss

Nash and Summers were my next 2 picks. Lived in the shadows of more touted stars on their teams, but overall, probably more-effective players.
  • Azubuike24
    Pick6 x 2.
  • Laley23
Nash was my #3 left. Should have a breakout year, but Ford is so awful as a coach, I didn't trust him lol.

I had Nash last year and he was good. He'll only improve (numbers wise) without smart.

This is why I kind of wanted him. They score a lot, and play with some other teams in the league (KU, ISU, UT and Baylor) who love to try to score (Baylor should this year).

So Pick6 has like 4.5 hours right??

    Yeah we said 12 hours
  • Azubuike24
Yeah, I think now that we're into round 9, we can pretty much just roll on and people can pick when they get back.
  • Laley23
Are we just going with top available
    players? Excluding WC...

Just saw AZs post. That works for me. NFL Draft style.

He has back to back picks, though. So even if his 12 hours runs out, isn't he technically on the clock again?

Yeah I guess technically he would lol.

    Thats some bullshit lol

I doubt he'd want us to wait the full 24 hours, which, if he didn't return, would basically take us into Monday before the draft resumed. As Az said, we're in Round 9, so it's probably fair to move forward at this point after a reasonable amount of time has passed. I'm sure he'll be back before that, though.

I hate pick but we gotta go by the rules here. 12 hours per pick. He has back to back picks so he has 24 hours

It sucks but we can't just bypass the rule.
  • Mulva
^ I agree with that. Hopefully he gets on at some point tonight and we can knock out a round or 2 tomorrow.
  • Azubuike24
Yeah, technically he's got until 4:33 PM tomorrow, haha.
  • reclegend22
That's fine. I mean, it's not even November yet, so we should finish the draft in plenty of time. Next year, however, I'd vote for reducing the clock in the event that somebody with back-to-back picks is gone for a couple of days without notice. Obviously, if that person provides a heads up that he will be unavailable for a certain period of time then that's a different story.

As I said, though, it's not a big deal.
  • Azubuike24
I say next year we just do like a 6-hour clock, and no double clock for B2B picks. Probably 80% of the picks have been made within 2 hours of the last.

You mean 8:33AM right? I made my pick at 8:33AM today haha.
  • Azubuike24
No, because the clock is off 12 AM to 8 AM, haha. So really, he's got 8 hours and 33 minutes after 8 AM tomorrow. We made a shitty clock rule this year!
  • Iliketurtles
O yeah damn forgot about that lol. I'm sure he will be on sometime before then though.
