Forget the names on the front of the jerseys, who's better???

OSU lost to Purdue. Cincy beat everyone on their sched until FL. You can lose to Purdue, but there's no chance Cincy could beat you???
That's not good logic. Especially considering that we just played 60 minutes of great football against a team that beat Purdue (albeit by 2 points, but still).

You can't use that reasoning when talking about sports.

  • athlete37
Yep, stoked with 6-6, that's why we shelled out 18 mill to get rid of our coach and even more to get a new one... Got us pegged....

What happen to the 2 national titles you said he would win ?

  • athlete37
Do you really want me to post pictures of Clarett, Spielman, Hayes, the loss to Purdue and on and on? Is that what you want?
  • athlete37
You posted a picture of a team we've beaten 43 of the last 45 times?? and a coach that won 19 of his first 23 regular season games taking over a 6-7 team?? and tell us we were stupid to be excited about him??
  • Citybuck
    Clarett = National Champs.

Spielman= not much you can say , he's a great man who has done a lot for OSU and college football. Most people who know any thing about football respect him and his ex-wife.

Woody Hayes= One of the best coaches ever, enough said.
  • athlete37
not that spielman, the one who can't read.... Katzenmoyer's gpa, what was it again? Why'd Woody get fired? Woody wouldn't be a top 4 coach in ND's history.
  • Citybuck
Enough with the small talk. lets talk head- to - head !

  • Citybuck
    Ouch !!!!!!!!!!

After this game, Katzenmoyer had other legendary battles, most famously with his GPA. The battles were fought and won in his AIDS Awareness, Golf and Music Appreciation classes.

Oh and sorry, I meant Alonzo Spellman.

Maurice Clarett was charged with carrying a concealed weapon after a highway chase early Wednesday that ended with police using Mace on the former Ohio State running back and finding four loaded guns in his sport utility vehicle.

    A Call for Help?
    Maurice Clarett
    Clarett

On possibly his last night as a free man, Maurice Clarett was calling on the telephone. I hadn't seen him or heard from him in a year, not since the Denver Broncos kicked him to the curb, but I was on his list Tuesday night.

I looked at the clock when he called, and it was just past 11 p.m. ET. He told me he was driving somewhere, and along the way his cell phone cut in and out. He wasn't loud or belligerent. Instead he seemed melancholy and possibly drunk. ...

    Gene Wojchiechowski:
    Holmes doesn't know this Clarett

Santonio Holmes and Maurice Clarett entered Ohio State together. But while Holmes is a Pittsburgh Steeler, an unfamiliar Clarett is in jail, writes ESPN.com's Gene Wojchiechowski. To read more, click here.

    ESPN Radio weighs in
Dan Patrick, ESPN The Magazine's Tom Friend and Mel Kiper discussed what is going on with Maurice Clarett on Thursday.

Officers used Mace to subdue Clarett after a stun gun was ineffective because the former Fiesta Bowl star was wearing a bullet-resistant vest, Sgt. Michael Woods said.

When was the last time Notre Dame beat OSU in football ??????

  • athlete37
Okay cool, since I've deflated all of your other arguments this is what you turn to. Wow, cool. When was the last time you guys beat an SEC team?
  • Citybuck
Facts are facts, ND isn't on OSU's level in football....ND has a solid baseball team and womens b-ball team but not football. This dicussion is over , It's like debating with a Northwestern football fan. Good Luck in 2010, I hope you guys finally make a Jan 1st bowl game....Keep recruiting Ohio and Central Ohio and that will help.
