That being said, Miles didn't make excuses about the field conditions. For the first 3 quarters it didn't look like LSU showed up to play offensively and PSU was doing just enough to keep getting points on the board.
LSU got it going, but it was too late and they had a dumbass 15 yard penalty at the end of the game that set them back and then poor clock management after that....
Not sure field condition played a part in this...I mean PSU has to play in it as well.
The field was actually fairly new sod that never good hold because of the recent cool weather in FLa. Then the rain, and u get what you saw today. A mess that both teams had to play in.
It was a mess before the rain today; Wisky and Miami tore it up and 4 high school championship games tore it up before that
