Let's Go Buckeyes!
-
devil1197Getting closer to game time and the Buckeyes are back in the Rose Bowl.
Keys to winning:
1) Blocking
-Continue the great blocking that we have witnessed over the last 5 games. The Buckeyes need to control the clock and the LOS. Herron, Saine, and Pryor have been running very well, this needs to continue,
2) Limit turnovers or penalties.
-Pryor has done a great job since the Purdue debacle, he needs to continue that today.
3) Bring the pressue.
-OSU cannot afford to sit back in a zone today. Bring the pressure and force Masoli to make mistakes. Hopefully we see a lot of Gibson and Williams today racing Masoli down, both are extremely fast.
4) Convert the long ball
-Pryor has left 21 points on the field against PSU and UM combined. Those big plays to Posey need to happen today.
5) Start and finish the game the same.
-OSU needs to start out hard and finish hard. Cannot let another W slip away like they did against Texas last year.

charliehustle14Keep with the game plan that we have in our last 3 wins. If Pryor can connect on those long bombs that he barely missed out on completing the final 3 weeks, we'll be fine. We need him to complete those because off of play-action, they will be there more than once today.

BuckeyeBlueHere's where I see the keys to the game:
1. Put pressure on Mazoli without selling out - I think the Buckeyes D-Line needs to apply pressure without having to bring a bunch of blitzers. Put pressure on Mazoli, and let the linebackers sit back and run.
2. Pryor needs to protect the ball - Oregon's offense is very good. The Buckeyes need to limit/eliminate turnovers and control the clock.
3. Offensive line play - There has never been a game in the history of football where offensive line play wasn't a key.
4. Tackle, tackle, tackle - With an offense with as many weapons as Oregon has, the Buckeyes cannot afford to miss tackles. Get them on the ground as soon as you get your hands on them. -
