Oklahoma vs Stanford
-
september63I just saw the worst leg injury ever. It was so bad CBS chose not to even show a replay of it. Oklahoma lineman Jackson.
-
LJFrom what I remember throughout the season, wasn't Oklahoma already using TE's as interior lineman?
-
september63Yes. Also have an All American tackle playing center. He just limped off the field.
-
darbypitcher22Stanford needs to get back to the running game they had on that TD drive... they are not going to with with their back up QB throwing it 40 times a game... and yes, I know he was a former start
-
DaBrowns41Wow, Oklahoma just got SCREWED. The player never gave Boyles the opportunity to even catch the punt, and the refs were going to call it, and then decided against it for no reason.
-
DaBrowns41Gerhart is the reason why Stanford is in this game, despite a great defensive line in Oklahoma, he's still got over 100 yards and a couple TD's.
He's having a fine game. Just not a great one like his previous games. -
DaBrowns4131-27.
Stanford got 3 free points that they should have never been in position for.
Oklahoma needs to take this down for a score and make this a two possession game. -
DaBrowns41Broyles catch on the sideline ruled out of bounds, reviewed and call stood, despite the fact that he clearly got 1 foot down.
-
mallymal614Big Game Bob is back!!!!!!!!!!
-
DaBrowns41Oklahoma wins 31-27 despite some interesting playcalling at the very end of the game, lmao.
-
september63Big Game Bob has still lost 5 of his last 7 Bowl games!! Hardly Big time coaching.
-
newarkcatholicfanReally glad to see the Sooners and their coach post the win in this one.
The players show their coach he made a smart call in not moving to the school who likes to turn down bowl games. -
darbypitcher22Still wouldn't call him Big Game Bob.
This game shouldn't have been that close. Gerhart was the reason they stayed in it, Stanford's QB play was horrible -

Are you serious? Stanford's starting QB was out and they had basically no passing game at all. Oklahoma, who has a good front four anyway, absolutely stacked the box all game and tried to stuff the run. Gerhart still managed 135 yards and 2 TDs. I'm not saying Gerhart is the greatest running back ever, but he's certainly more than a "good" player. I don't care what conference you play in...about 1,900 yards rushing and 28 TDs is damn good.ccrunner609 wrote: Gerhardt is not that good. After watching the PAC10 has been utterly curbstomped in 3-4 games.....TG all of a sudden looks like a "good" player in a shitty conference -

I agree, absolutely stomach-churning injury. After everyone else got up, I saw the Oklahoma DT laying there in obvious pain. Then I saw that the lower portion of his leg was turned in a VERY awkward position. I just cringed when I saw it. I figured they wouldn't show a replay because it had to have been nasty to look at when it initially happened.september63 wrote: I just saw the worst leg injury ever.
