HereticIn a moment of pure comedy, I was looking at Lunardi's Bracketology this morning and for some reason he had EMU as the MAC rep at a #15 playing Michigan.
Despite how they're the six seed in the tournament. Which is why I look at his "success percentage" at picking NCAA teams as being pure bullshit. Dude can be wrong on a daily basis when it comes to smaller leagues, but change his pick for them after his team goes out and when it's over with, says he got 67/68 right because, hey, after two fuck-ups, he did finally get the winner of that one-bid league tournament right! -
ernest_t_bassI voated Toledo.

Laley23
That sounds like a typo. Because for the auto bids he just takes who is in 1stbplace on the given day he does his bracketology. He really is only guessing the at large teams, and to be honest, when you look at it, there are only about 4 teams that can go either way by Sunday night.Heretic;1588544 wrote:In a moment of pure comedy, I was looking at Lunardi's Bracketology this morning and for some reason he had EMU as the MAC rep at a #15 playing Michigan.

Makes sense that he could get Western and Eastern Michigan confused, as WMU is the #1 seed. Still a pretty big derp moment for the supposed expert to fuck that up. Especially considering he gave EMU a #15. The MAC tends to get a 12-13 seed more often than not (sometimes 14), so that seeding seems to be what I'd expect for a second-tier team from the conference.Laley23;1588576 wrote:That sounds like a typo. There's a reason ESPN only trots this guy out on TV once a year. He is as much a bracketologist as Punxsutawney Phil is a weatherman. I have always sort of likened Lunardi's act to the age guessing expert at the carnival.Heretic;1588587 wrote:Makes sense that he could get Western and Eastern Michigan confused, as WMU is the #1 seed. ts1227Bonus basketball in the BG/NIU game... also known as Louis Orr gets 5 more minutes before BG cans his ass.
-
reclegend22Was the BGSU game televised anywhere? Didn't see it.

ts1227
This opening round was MAC web feeds only. The rest of the rounds up to the final will be televised but only if you have TWC because the MAC signed a completely retarded TV contract (Final is thankfully on ESPN2). I'll be watching online all week.reclegend22;1588735 wrote:Was the BGSU game televised anywhere? Didn't see it. -
ts1227Nothing too exciting tonight, 9-12 sent packing. Now it's off to Cleveland!
-
HereticI feel good now that OU survived their first round game. I mean, Ball State defines utter garbage, but it was at Ohio and down the stretch, I think they lost their last 3-4 home games, while winning their last 3-4 road games.
Now, they'll be away from home for the rest of the tournament, so things are looking up! In theory. I hope. -

I just saw that on Yahoo Sports. Can't say that's a surprise. He should be thankful he got those extra five minutes: both as an extension of his career and as sort of a 5-minute microcosm of said career with the Falcs.ts1227;1588981 wrote:And done

Good. Super nice guy, as I'm sure anyone who's ever met him would attest, but his chair would have made just as good a coach. How the hell did it take this long? Orr's record has gotten worse almost every year since 2007.ts1227;1588981 wrote:And done

HereticLooks like the Zips just had more down the stretch. Couldn't watch the game due to having no idea what sort of magic fucking TV I'd need to get whatever obscure channel it was on, but looked like OU led most of the way, but just got outmanned during the final 5-10 minutes.
Fuck, but if they won that game, they'd be dead today. WMU killed them both times they played in the regular season. -
Laley23I didnt even bother looking last night, but I did tonight for Toledo.
Both games are on ESPN3 (Watch ESPN if you have the App). Looks like TWC is allowing ESPN to take their feed for these games, but only to be streamed.
Then again, ESPN is there for the final, so their crew might be doing the game on ESPN3 themselves (we will see what graphics package is used). But TWC is getting some $$$ either way from Bristol.
Main point was, if you have a PS3, Wii, AppleTV, XBox 360 or iPad/iPhone you can watch the games on ESPN3/Watch ESPN and have it actually be on your TV. Shitty alternative yes, but its better than not watching, imo -
wildcats20Only if you have the right cable company. Or know someone willing to give you their login info.

Laley, from what I see on BCSN's website it appears that BCSN2 is broadcasting the game live. Unfortunately, it's only for Buckeye Cable subscribers, but I thought I'd put it out it out there.Laley23;1590320 wrote:I didnt even bother looking last night, but I did tonight for Toledo.

Thats true, but dont all the big companies have Watch ESPN by now???wildcats20;1590327 wrote:Only if you have the right cable company. Or know someone willing to give you their login info.
Who are you with? -
wildcats20I'm with time warner, so it doesn't matter to me.
But I know some of the channels that have online viewing don't have access with TW. NBC/golf channel for one. -
Laley23
Just went to the crew page (shocked they havent blocked my access yet lol) and BCSN is covering UT Tennis, HS Girls' BBall, WCHA Hockey, HS Broomball and Sports Nightly.vball10set;1590328 wrote:Laley, from what I see on BCSN's website it appears that BCSN2 is broadcasting the game live. So, I am led to believe that they will be paying TWC to take their feed and have it sent back to them via satellite (as I doubt Buckeye Cable has any lines run in the Q).
Post on here when you know if its a TWC Broadcast or a BCSN Broadcast (Logos/Graphics/ETC will give it away) -

If it's like during the season, it is blacked out in the MAC footprint on ESPN3/WatchESPN, so you have to use the MAC Digital Network (which is free, just kind of sucks)Laley23;1590320 wrote:I didnt even bother looking last night, but I did tonight for Toledo.
