Might as well get the discussion started.
We have arguably the best defense in the country facing the Miller & Hyde Show. We also have a fairly average Michigan State offense going up against a Buckeye defense that seems to show-up just about every other Saturday.
Sparty has an excellent shot of representing the B1G in the Rose Bowl win or lose. Meanwhile Ohio State with a win, and barring any BCS shenanigans that might send a 1-loss $EC team to the NC game, will also earn a trip to Pasadena just 5 days later in the 2014 National Championship game. A Buckeye loss would mean an at-large BCS bid.
Weather will not be a factor.
I live in $EC country and nearly all of my co-workers literally loathe Ohio State. They believe the Buckeyes are a fraud and are rooting for Sparty to win so Auburn or perhaps Missouri can keep the $EC national championship streak alive. They claim it would be "justice" for Ohio State playing such a weak schedule in an "average" B1G conference. To that I can only roll my eyes.
I'm more nervous about this game than I was last weekend.
Anyone else out there feeling the same way? So what say you OC land? Do I have anything to worry about? :RpS_blink:
