vball10setAm I correct in that no running back has rushed for 100 yards against our defense yet this season?

Pick6What a great team performance last night. Great to see everyone play to their potential.

Pretty sure Desmond and Jessie Palmer also picked PSU to upset us.vball10set;1524548 wrote:yup -

The defense seemed to bring a lot more pressure than they have in any game thus far. It really seemed to help. It kept the double teams off Bosa and Spence, and forced Hackenberg to make quick decisions.Heretic;1524594 wrote:That was the sort of effort I'd been waiting for through the last couple weeks! Offense was nearly unstoppable and the defense didn't let PSU ever get into a comfort zone. I'll be perfectly happy if they can do that to teams for the rest of the season. -
bases_loadedThe "new" band director is doing a helluva job putting the TBDBITL on the national scene. Crazy those two performances in back to back weeks.

And he's from Elmore Ohio! I love giving shit to UM fans, how's it feel knowing a team you could not beat was down by 42 at half to us. Here's to hoping Sparty beats em down next weekbases_loaded;1524837 wrote:The "new" band director is doing a helluva job putting the TBDBITL on the national scene. What position do you play? -
AutomatikHad amazing seats for the game. 40 yard line, 7th row, C deck.
I love a good blow out, but kinda hoped to see a better game in person. It was still badass and Columbus was poppin. Also saw a ton of Halloween hotties. -

HitsRusWhat position do you play?
If he holds a diploma, the position he plays is 'alumnus'. If he holds a student ID then his position is 'student'. Colleges, their students, faculty, staff, and alumni are considered part of the institution's 'family'. The football team past and present are part of that family. So whether or not he plays on the current football team he is 100% correct in using the term 'us'.
If you want to be cute and make a candy ass semantic arguement about fans of sports teams using the term 'us'....probably best stick to the pro's where you can argue whether buying tickets is sufficient to be consisdered 'part of the organization'. -

"Us" is a term you hear a lot after the team you support puts a beatdown on a rivalry. It is used less when that rival's record isn't strong. According to you, since I graduated from OSU, I should consder the whole thing a "family" - every organization associated with the university. So am I correct that "we" are making strides against cancer, that "we" have made important advancements in the field of thermodynamics, that "we" wrote a great book in the form of James Thurber's My Life and Hard Times?HitsRus;1524945 wrote:If he holds a diploma, the position he plays is 'alumnus'. Sure. Go for it. At least doing that is less annoying than calling out a fan for using "we" in reference to the team they follow.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1524987 wrote:"Us" is a term you hear a lot after the team you support puts a beatdown on a rivalry. I don't blame the kids that were in high school and decided not to go. I do blame the guys who were on the team, knew that this had nothing to do with them and bailed on their teammates. He is the only player that left and has had success. I may have been a bit too harsh with my comment, but I still think those guys bailed on their teammates.Rotinaj;1525113 wrote:LOL, seriously?? Or his teammates bailed on him. Seriously, why spend 4 years getting blown out against Ohio State when you can go to Cali and enjoy the sunshine? Penn State would have won nothing in 4 years with or without the penalties; I say good for him.Falcons53;1525124 wrote:I don't blame the kids that were in high school and decided not to go.
