How Bad did Akron Get Screwed?

  • ernest_t_bass
I think the MAC is going to be a fun conference to watch this year. BGSU playing well, Akron decent, Buffalo not too bad. Glad they're showing the conference more on Nat. TV.

All threads matter deeply Webster...and dont you forget it!

Only threads with Quick Reply matter. Which means none matter right now.

    Then you're a shitty ref.

This, in a nutshell, is the inconsistency that drives coaches, players and fans crazy.

You don't speak for America, you fuck.

Did you want the grab by #38 prior to #11's push? Did you want them both called a foul, one of the two called a foul (which one?), or neither? Which of the four do you want?

I won't list the fifth option.

As LJ pointed out, it doesn't matter what I 'want' or say, 'cause you're going to defend your brethren. You listed one option in your post (I don't care if #11 white pushes #38 black and he falls to the ground. Not going to call it.), and I responded to that.

I really have no idea what you think should be called. A foul on #11 white, a foul on #38 black, a foul on both, or a foul on neither?

    Was a foul committed?

According to superman and vball10. But what do I know, my opinion is irrelevant here, I am only here to defend, not to educate.

Where did I say a foul was committed? I just responded to your comment regarding not calling something that's there because of the situation. Please, don't read into something that's not there.

I did not say anything about the situation. I would not call it due to the action.

If there is a foul, call it. I have never agreed with not calling a foul because it's the end of a game.

Sorry, I misunderstood you then. However, I still don't understand the comment "I don't care if #11 white pushes #38 black and he falls to the ground. Not going to call it." Is it an action/reaction thing?

Not nearly as bad as Wisconsin.

Not even close. IMO there wasn't even a foul at the end of the tsun/Akron game...the ending of the Wisky game was just atrocious all the way around.

I definitely speak for ALL of America when I say everyone outside the borders of Pissagain think the Zips got screwed and actually won that game.
  • Pick6
My biggest issue was the respotting of the ball. It clearly wasnt a touchdown, yet thats what the refs were supposedly reviewing (right?). The Zips got screwed the worst way possible in that not only didnt get a TD (obviously), but took away the first down as well. Believe they would have won 1st and goal at the 1 with 24 secs left.

No, they were never reviewing for a TD, they were in fact reviewing the spot. And they seemed short to me and the announcers both.
