Just another ESPN article with an anti-OSU cheap shot

I'm pretty sure the majority of BCS schools would love to have suffered through the "futility" that OSU did in the BCS era.The BCS brought us Vince Young magic, Boise State creativity, SEC dominance, Ohio State futility and, of course, plenty of controversy. -
vball10setIt's ESPN.....yawn.

I know, I only post this as there are people that don't think ESPN has a bias against OSU. I'm not sure in what unbaised universe you could call what OSU did during the BCS era as futile.vball10set;1485912 wrote:It's ESPN.....yawn. -

Yeah, weren't they 6-3 in BCS bowls (or 5-3 if you are an SEC fan and therefore feel the need to negate the win over Arkansas that was taken away due to violations) and 1-2 in National Championship games? Calling that "futility" simply based on back-to-back championship losses (that were, admittedly, ugly losses) is typical ESPNtardation.Fly4Fun;1485916 wrote:I know, I only post this as there are people that don't think ESPN has a bias against OSU. Nah I thought we were only 5-3, was there a 9th? But ESPN sucks anywaysHeretic;1485933 wrote:Yeah, weren't they 6-3 in BCS bowls (or 5-3 if you are an SEC fan and therefore feel the need to negate the win over Arkansas that was taken away due to violations) and 1-2 in National Championship games? This is all correct, especially the 5-3 reason.Heretic;1485933 wrote:Yeah, weren't they 6-3 in BCS bowls (or 5-3 if you are an SEC fan and therefore feel the need to negate the win over Arkansas that was taken away due to violations) and 1-2 in National Championship games? BCS record-keeping site has them at 6-3. And in the comments for that article, if you read, there are a lot of people defending OSU by citing that record. And there's some dude who keeps harping on how it's really 5-3 because of the Arkansas win being negated. And for lulz, after his name, it says "Gas Station Clerk at Meijer". Man, that dude knows how to win at life...Classyposter58;1485935 wrote:Nah I thought we were only 5-3, was there a 9th? But ESPN sucks anyways -
#1DBagI don't need ESPN to fap. Erin Andrews is now at Fox Sports.

WebFireYes, OSU is the only school ESPN says anything negative about. And this one sentence proves it. And ESPN clearly hates Urban Meyer.
-
WebFireIn fact, they hate OSU so much they ranked them #2 in their preseason poll. Can you imagine!?

Someone's a little jealous of the publicity. I'd be too, if my historic team has fallen to middle-of-the-pack in an average conference.WebFire;1486711 wrote:It's awful. I don't even know how you guys can survive. -

Or maybe it's whining from OSU fans and the poor me attitude about an issue that doesn't exist. -

SportsAndLadyOh that's right, you just want that Michigan avatar to appear on threads because your team is basically forgotten.

WebFireAnd S&L with his typical responses when a UM fan comments on OSU stuff.
