However, he CHOSE to play. I don't care if it's an exhibition game or not. It's considered an NCAA sanctioned event.
If would be totally different if he then suffered a season-ending injury, or had some other hardship.
While I hate the NCAA and despise about 99% of what they do, if they make an exception here, where does the line get drawn? What's next, a guy plays 2 games for a team, transfers and says that shouldn't count? What about someone who played 8 games, but only 8 minutes? Would that be different than 8 minutes in 1 game?
You hate to put ownership on a decision, but if you are a SENIOR, know you want to transfer, why would you even suit up for the initial school knowing it's your last year of eligibility? He took the risk...nobody else.
