Bold predictions for the tourny?

LOL! Neither of those guys are lethal, at all. Jones is below average 3pt shooter, and is only at about 43% overall. Armand is better from deep, but I wouldn't call him lethal. Guards against OSU, really struggle, badly.reclegend22;1407774 wrote:Iona over Ohio State. Facing Sean Armand and MoMo Jones was my biggest nightmare heading into the bracket. Luckily Duke escaped that draw. That's the best 15 seed this season, by far. Armand and Jones are lethal shooters who can drop 30 or 40 with ease. The Buckeyes are playing great right now, though, so it will be a tall task for Tim Cluess' club.

Sean Armand is most definitely lethal, though. He's made 108 three-point field goals this season, sixth in the country. He's a 41% shooter from distance who has made 7 or more threes in four different games this year. Armand had one game this season where he hit 9 triples and a game last season where he hit 10. He's a dangerous shooter who, if in rhythm, is deadly.
MoMo Jones is also legit. He averages 23.0 points (3rd nationally) and would be an all-league player in any of the BCS conferences, and probably the player of the year in the Pac-12 if he were still at Arizona. He's dropped 30 or more six times, with a 40-point night.
As Reggie Miller might say, these are two cool cats who love to shoot. -

This ain't Duke bro. OSU doesn't lose to 15 seeds. :thumbup:reclegend22;1408248 wrote:A guy can dream, can't he?

vball10setNew Mexico won't make the ss, but Illinois will
No Big East team will make the final four, but two B1G teams will
A #6 seed will be cutting down the nets -
reclegend22There's been a lot of discussion here about whether Bo Ryan will ever make it to a Final Four. If it's going to happen, this is the year. The Badgers have a relatively easy route to the Elite Eight. They will quickly dismiss Marshall Mathers AKA Welfare Jimmer in the first round and then will have a very favorable matchup against K-State or IMO LaSalle in the second (third) round. After that it's Gonzaga -- which we've already seen get destroyed at home by Wisconsin's fellow Big Ten member Illinois.
In my estimation, only Ohio State, Arizona, New Mexico and (possibly, although unlikely) Iona stand in the way of Wisconsin and the Final Four. -
sleeperYeah I'm kind of disappointed Wisconsin is in the same bracket as OSU. Wisconsin is the 2nd best team in the West right after Ohio State. One of these teams will make the final 4 and I'm putting my money on the Buckeyes right now.
