    Bring in WISCONSIN!

I hope we get some revenge on wisky tomorrow but man are they a bad matchup for us.

I'm psyched! What a great win. They lost their lead a bit which could have shaken their faith. But Thomas with a nice bucket to make it two possessions.

I loved the way Craft played in the second half. I am going to miss him so much once he is gone.

Craft once again with a game high 20.

If the Bucks win tomorrow are they a 1 seed?

    No.

Why not? Would you say 2?

I think they announce the brackets before the games are done tomorrow. I don't think the results for tomorrow have any affect on seeding

I think it's down to Indiana, Louisville, Gonzaga, Duke, Miami, and Kansas now. I just don't think our overall resume will match them (assuming Miami and Kansas win conference tourneys as well).

    A solid 2, though. Maybe still a 2 with a loss, I would guess a 3.

I think the buckeyes may have sealed a 2 seed....they could beat wisky by 50 tomorrow and not be a 1 seed.

My thought - Even though Wisky will be the tougher opponent, tOSU won't get the glamor points for beating Indiana - a team that was all but assured a #1 seed (AND won the regular season championship - thanks, Wolverweenies). Methinks they're a second seed tomorrow no matter what happens - if they win, maybe an upgrade to the best available site.

If Wisconsin wins, I would not be terribly shocked if a Big Ten team didn't get a one seed - I'm not sure if SOS consideration will be enough to offset the number of losses. And I would not be surprised to see two or three Big Ten teams in the Final Four.

Games are over before the announcement.

The committee is like basically locked up in a room all day until they come out with the brackets on today . At least that's what I thought I could be wrong . I didn't think they had any contact with the outside world until they are done

The brackets don't come out today.

DeChuck Thomas. 6-19, 2-11 from 3. This guy SUCKS. I hope Matta benches him for the rest of the tournament.

The brackets can't be done until the championship games are done. The tournament winners get into the NCAA tourny.

They'll definitely be playing in Dayton though.

Yeah, let's hope he benches a top 20 all time scorer (OSU). Great strategy.

Look at the stats. Apparently you think 6-19 and 2-11 is good or desirable. Is that what you are standing behind? LOL.

It's pretty obvious that the strategy was to have Thomas keep shooting from the outside no matter what to try to open things up for Craft in the middle. It worked in the game a few weeks ago, and it ended up working today too. Thomas has averaged just over 19 ppg this season. The next closest averages 10 ppg less. You are saying take the only consistent scorer off the floor for who? Who is going to make up those 20 ppg?

And a strategy that won't garner a national title. I'm glad you support and condone a strategy that isn't winning a title. What a true fan.

    From Ohio State's athletics site:

    • The win marks the first time Ohio State has defeated Michigan State twice in the same season when the Spartans are ranked in the Top 10 nationally.
    • Ohio State is 21-9 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament.
    • The Buckeyes have advanced to six of the last seven tournament finals (five consecutive) and have won 17 of their last 21 games in the tourney overall.
    • Michigan State shot 40 percent for the game (20-50). The Buckeyes have held opposing teams under 50 percent shooting in 29 of 32 games.
    • OSU owned a 15-6 advantage in bench points. The Buckeyes have a 587-379 edge over opposing benches in points scored this season.
    • Matta owns the best Big Ten Tournament winning percentage (.783) and the second-most tournament wins (18) of any conference coach in history.
    • Matta has compiled a record of 49-12 as a head coach in March, the fourth-best record by percentage (.803) among active coaches.
    • With 16 points, Deshaun Thomas moved to No. 17 on the all-time scoring list at Ohio State (1,524 total points). He needs six points to pass Tony Campbell for 16th.
    • Aaron Craft has totaled five or more assists in 17 games this season.
    • In 32 games played this season, Craft has recorded a steal in all but one game.
