Yes. It looks like he is going up and under Tim Hardaways block, for a reverse.

Maybe we're talking about different plays. I'm talking about the final play. He was clearly looking squarely at the rim with the ball in shooting position. Whatever happened after Hardaway wrapped his arm around his wrist is irrelevant.

I worry that this osu team is one that could be 3 or 4 seed that gets upset in the first round. They are very athletic but very flawed.

The one thing they have going for them is that college basketball is weak this year for sure.

I think this team is too good at defense to lose in the first round, and maybe the second round as well. Their D plus Deshaun should be good enough for a sweet 16, and I think from there on out its all about matchups. They'll lose to a team with a good to great post presence or just a lot of length inside as well as good complementary players. I still think Ross will be going strong by tourney time and they'll be a tough out, but if bad Aaron Craft or bad Lenzelle Smith shows up they will probably lose once they hit the sweet 16.

Just watched it again. Probably right, but I wouldnt say clearly. My point remains, it wouldve been a bailout call cause Craft was off-balanced and drove right into Hardaway who was waiting, with Burke right there as well. I like the idea to drive for 2, but not from Craft and certainly not when you have a defender riding you and another waiting in the lane for you.

I had to leave the house and missed OT. Saw this though on the last play.

"I saw the ball in my face, so I just tried to wrap it up," Hardaway said. "Probably got his arm or something like that, but like I said, it's up to the refs to call that call, and they let it go."

"I thought Trey fouled him, and then I thought the whistle was going to blow, and then I just went for the ball," Hardaway said.

Foul gets called on Burke on the floor, Craft isn't going to the line and gives a chance for UM to set up their D (and OSU same with their O).

Yes, we all know we should determine these things on 1 still shot. Guess OSU shouldn't have beat Miami in 2002 after all.

You can easily take 8 points off of OSU's score. The offensive goaltend, the 3 pointer after the shot clock, and a travel towards the end right before a 3 pointer.

Well, then how many points can we take away from UM? There were 3 out of bounds calls that went their way. Hardaway obviously pushed Smith before one of his threes as well as travelled before one also. Whats that 12 points?

Serious question, why do you keep arguing this? Michigan won, just enjoy the win. Of course there will be people who want to say Craft got fouled or something else, but just let them go. Doesn't make sense to keep trying to defend the no call or anything else, just enjoy it. Unless maybe you're just bored. :)

Wow, what a game. Tsun showed why they are one of the top teams in the country, and OSU proved that if players other than Thomas contribute, they can play with anyone in the country...and it was great that a national audience could see the B1G's strength was on full display. Best conference, hands down.

btw, lol at some of these "coaches" on here saying Thomas should've done this and Matta should've done that in OT. I thought Craft having the ball in his hands at the end was the right move. He took it strong to the hole, didn't get the bucket or the call, game over (similarly, Burke had the ball at the end of the game in Cbus, and even though he missed the basket, I thought it was in the right player's hands).

OSU was in the bonus, so Craft would be at the line.

    Were they?

I don't remember. I know Michigan only committed 9 total fouls...

ESPN play by play has Michigan with 6 second half and OT fouls, but I'm pretty sure they had one charging call right?

You're right. It's just annoying being a Michigan fan in Ohio I guess. Whenever OSU wins it's because they are so great. When Michigan wins there has to be a reason or excuse why OSU lost.

    I'll just enjoy the win.

Yea, what's done is done. It was a good win for the Wolverines, and also a "good" loss for the Bucks. Williams and Ross both showed what they are capable of, and the Bucks surprisingly always answered Wolverine runs. I feel much more confident in the Bucks ability to beat Indiana on Sunday. OSU's perimeter D could be really tough for the Hoosiers to handle.

It obviously wasn't the right move considering he didn't score? lol no freakin way is Craft the best chance OSU has to win when they need a bucket. Matta HAS to call a timeout there and set up a play for Thomas..that gives OSU their best chance of winning, imo at least.

You don't think that if Matta calls timeout to set up a play for Thomas they won't be all over him? If Craft makes the shot or a foul is called, we're not having this discussion. Btw, you think Matta was outcoached again?

Craft wasn't ever going to make that shot. He tried to take over the game in the Duke game at the end (3/15 in that game, 3 TOs, 5 fouls), he missed wide open 3 after wide open 3 in the Kansas game (7 pts, 4 TOs, 4 fouls), and he tried to take over in this game...he has one of the 5 best players in the entire nation on his team, yet he constantly tries to win games for the Bucks on the offensive side. He has to be one of the most overrated players I have seen. The guy is UNREAL defensively, why does he try and take games over on the offensive side? I just will never understand that, and until he realizes he can't do that, the entire nation will keep laughing at him.

    lol, okay

and you didn't answer my question-do you think Matta was outcoached again?
