Hardly. I lived in State College for 10 of the last 11 years. There are PLENTY of people there who also agree....not because they're die-hard Penn State fans, but because they feel the NCAA went way beyond it purview. And it did.
These same people also have told me the NCAA sanctions against Ohio State for the relatively inconsequential actions of the Tattooed Five is equally wrong.
Fact is the NCAA has no oversight and is certainly out of control. I hope Corbett sticks to his guns and forces the NCAA to squirm just a little.
