Ironman92Sorry cats....that was one of the best post game interviews ever....starting with a bear hug to the interviewing reporter. That guy loves coaching and loves football.
I've watched it 3 times and it keeps getting better. -
cats gone wildWho wouldnt be pumped up after winning a bowl game at the last second? After all, he did give up 70 points last year to WVU in a bowl game.

And after all LSU has lost 2 straight bowl games. -

Checkmate. -
Classyposter58He's a great guy and coach and gets it. Clemson has been consistently pretty solid under him, look for it to continue

september63Dabo Swinney=John Cooper. They were both excellent recruiters. Neither could beat their schools arch rival.
Win all you want, but if you lose to the Gamecocks 4 out of every 5 yrs, he wont last at Clemson. -

Really? They underachieve all the time.Classyposter58;1354420 wrote:He's a great guy and coach and gets it. Clemson has been consistently pretty solid under him, look for it to continue -

Uh.....the thread was started for his post game greatness......John Cooper did his thing for years upon years....did Clemson really underachieve this year? -
september63I loved his enthusiasm. Yes, they did underachieve this year, unless getting 2nd in your conference and losing to SC was your goal.
-
Ironman92They underachieved in that sense but to me teams like Michigan, LSU and USC underachieved.
LSU was the preseason #1.....Clemson was preseason #14
Clemson will finish around #10 and those 3 team's will all be well below (LSU will be right behind but a dozen spots below expectations)
South Carolina was preseason #9....I get the rivalry part and it is important.
Pressure will be on Dabo next year for sure. They will be very high in the rankings to start and a Heisman candidate QB. -

If boyd comes back. He made some comments last night that suggested that he may leave. Stock is high.. -
cats gone wildLSU underachieved for sure. But, when you lose a ton of starters do to injuries, lose a heisman candidate, and 2 of your 3 losses happen in the final minute.......it really wasnt all too bad. It basically gave alot of young guys starting experience, and that will help out the next couple years. Miles is still an idiot in playcalling and they still need a good OC.
And anyone with half a brain knew USC was way over rated. -

His stock is high....might be his best choice. If anyone can talk him out it is Dabo.
