Cat Food Flambe'Basing divisions on current football "balance" is kind of short-sighted - who knows where things will be in five years, Only tOSU has been a consistent powerhouse over the last 15 years - and while PSU is currently basking in the "it feels so good when they first quit beating me" glow, they're going to come down with a bump in the next several years as the scholarship limits kick in.
Go with the East/West split, but put Whisky in the "east" and keep both Indiana in the West, then adjust for two more members later. -

I have thought traditionaly of Wisky as being second best in conference for football, so they belong opposite of TOSU.Cat Food Flambe';1344051 wrote:Basing divisions on current football "balance" is kind of short-sighted - who knows where things will be in five years, Only tOSU has been a consistent powerhouse over the last 15 years - and while PSU is currently basking in the "it feels so good when they first quit beating me" glow, they're going to come down with a bump in the next several years as the scholarship limits kick in.

This. Put Maryland in the Legends with the rest of the M/N Schools. That's how we figured out which school was in which division last time; Legends-M Schools, N Schools, Iowa.stlouiedipalma;1342483 wrote:You've got to split the new boys up. Leave Illinois where they are and put Maryland and Rutgers in separate divisions. You can flip a coin as far as I'm concerned, but I wouldn't put them together. -
