Random blast from the past but were you in 3rd floor Cunningham in 04? There were two football players that lived there, one stayed and his roommate never came back from winter break for that reason.Crimson streak;1341636 wrote:Never graduated. No I was there in 08 when michelli, kmic and Cecil were there I left after the spring semester and I lived in ketchem. I found out like a week before fall camp started. It sucked at first cause I was looking at quite a bit of playing time my sophomore year but I still wouldn't trade my daughter for anything, definitely helped me grow up. -

Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Linevball10set;1341868 wrote:Interesting...do you have an idea what his son's resume looks like?
Vince Kehres enters his 13th year as an assistant football coach and eighth season as Mount Union's defensive coordinator. His unit has constantly ranked statistically among the top of all of NCAA Division III and in 2011 they led were No. 2 in total defense, No. 2 in scoring defense and No. 1 in pass efficiency defense.
A 1998 graduate of Mount Union, he was a four-year letterwinner (1994-97) at defensive end for the Purple Raiders, a member of two National Championship teams (1996 & 1997) and earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors during his senior year 1997.
During his playing career, Kehres totaled 62 hits and 12 tackles for loss, and he was a key member of the special teams unit. He was part of a 1997 defense that led all of Division III in fewest points allowed (5.6 ppg) and rushing defense (48.6 ypg) while posting five shutouts and setting a Raider single-season mark for sacks in a season (53 in 10 regular season games).
He and his wife, Lindsay, have two sons, Evan and Bo. -
vball10setThanks, ump, and by the looks of it, he seems pretty well qualified.

Classyposter58Why doesn't Mount Union try to go up to D2? This is ridiculous how much they dominate their division, like NCAA Football 13 dominant

It's not that easy, going to D2 is a huge jump, both financially and competitive wise.Classyposter58;1342269 wrote:Why doesn't Mount Union try to go up to D2? This is ridiculous how much they dominate their division, like NCAA Football 13 dominant -

SonofanumpNow Mount is the second best if not the best team in D3. Just curious where you think they would finish if they played D2 this year or next.

This year I think they could go quarter finals/semis maybe but years past like 07 or 08 teams probably could have won d-2. Those teams had crazy talent for d-3 -
Jawbreaker
It is easier for a NAIA team to make the jump to D2 than a D3 school.Classyposter58;1342269 wrote:Why doesn't Mount Union try to go up to D2? This is ridiculous how much they dominate their division, like NCAA Football 13 dominant -

Interesting discussion with how Mount would stack up in D2. Personally I think they would fight for a playoff spot. To say semis is ridiculous. D2 offers scholarships, so naturally they should get better players. But the mindset and coaching of Mount gives them a chance.Crimson streak;1342338 wrote:This year I think they could go quarter finals/semis maybe but years past like 07 or 08 teams probably could have won d-2.
