reclegend22While that seems cool to try and replicate the "madness of March," it also seems like it would be incredibly distracting, no? Are the games going to be played on abutting courts, like at a YMCA or rec center? That'd be difficult to concentrate for fans, I would think. But maybe it would be completely awesome if I were there and saw it firsthand.
I guess I'm just not a gimmick person. The basketball on a boat idea was the stupidest thing that has ever happened to college basketball. As least this isn't that. -

With how big Cowboys Stadium is, I would assume it would be like 4 mini "arenas." Small stands around each floor and then general seating in the stands would be my guess.reclegend22;1337728 wrote:While that seems cool to try and replicate the "madness of March," it also seems like it would be incredibly distracting, no? Ah. So sort of like the state wrestling tournament with "barriers." OK, thinking about it like that it sounds pretty exciting.wildcats20;1337733 wrote:With how big Cowboys Stadium is, I would assume it would be like 4 mini "arenas." Laley23It would be like the big AAU events, Id assume. Where they have like 20 row blechers (so 40 total, back to back) to seperate the courts. Then have endline bleachers as well. I wonder if they would put all 4 games on the big screen at once so fans in attenance not court level could watch what they wanted. Would be sick, the more I think about it.

I think it's a great idea for them to do this. There probably aren't too many other stadiums that could hold it though.Laley23;1337743 wrote:It would be like the big AAU events, Id assume. How much bigger is Cowboys stadium than a typical one? I mean, the field itself is obviously 100yds in all of them...but I assume Cowboys Stadium has more "padding" making this much more feasible??? I know Lucas Oil doesnt have enough room for 4 games. No way.wildcats20;1337752 wrote:I think it's a great idea for them to do this.
