Then back it up. You say it's inaccurate, but provide nothing to show the inaccuracy.karen lotz;1331402 wrote:There's nothing to back it up? Are you sure about that?
Ertz had a really good season and is deserving of any accolades he gets. But to say there is nothing backing up Eifert as being better is inaccurate. -

ok, Eifert ahead of Ertz on every draft board I've seen. You're wrong. Sorry. -

Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson, Landry Jones, Tyler Bray, Ryan Nassib, Zach Dysert all ahead of Boyd on draft boards. LOLkaren lotz;1331449 wrote:ok, Eifert ahead of Ertz on every draft board I've seen. You're wrong. Sorry.

That means nothing. There have been Heisman Trophy winners go undrafted, doesn't mean they weren't better college football players than the guys drafted ahead of them.karen lotz;1331449 wrote:ok, Eifert ahead of Ertz on every draft board I've seen. You're wrong. Sorry. -

um did I say Boyd was better than those guys or did I say he's a better qb than Manziel and Klein? LOL learn how to read. -
Mooney44CardsJust so we're clear, this is the shitty All-America team that's voted on by the terrible coaches who don't watch any games except their own.
The AP All-America team is the one that people really care about.
I wouldn't put too much stock in who they did or didn't pick. -

Nah, you said nothing was out there to say Eifert was better. There are plenty of things proving that, but I only needed one to prove you inaccurate. -

You're such a joke. Bad thing is, I know you're more than capable of talking sports with some common sense, but for some reason you refuse to do it. A mock draft surely doesn't prove that Eifert was better than Ertz this year.karen lotz;1331465 wrote:Nah, you said nothing was out there to say Eifert was better. What's the point? Mental midgets such as vball and pick are unable to understand anyway. I'm just trying to post so they can stay involved in the convo. When in Rome and all that. -
se-alumI agree with mooney, the AP team will be much more accurate. The coaches tend to favor upperclassmen.

Just ignore the people you don't want to converse with, kinda like I do with people like Isadore and Tiernan. Read 'em, laugh at 'em, and move on.karen lotz;1331494 wrote:What's the point? True. I'll take the word of bucknuts over people that evaluate talent for a living.
Also, I don't believe I said Ertz didn't have an all American type year. I'm pretty sure I said he deserves any accolades he gets. I am only saying that Eifert is a better player. So many people are unable to read and follow a conversation. -
se-alumAlso, I'm a huge OSU fan, but at no point in the season did I see Braxton as a Heisman candidate, in fact, I think Guiton made better decisions in his short time than Braxton did most of the year. It is possible for fans to take the bias out of these situations and be sensible on subjects.

Oh I know. There would be about 3 osu fans worth paying attention to and where's the fun in that? -

Evaluating talent for the next level has nothing to do with who is more deserving of AA status. Eifert has played excellent ball, but Ertz has played better.karen lotz;1331506 wrote:True. I'll take the word of bucknuts over people that evaluate talent for a living.
Pro potential argues for who will be the better player in the future. Who is the better player today? Ertz, and it's not as close as homers believe it to be. -

For the sake of argument, what exactly is it that you wanted me to understand? I agreed that Eifert should have been named first team, so that can't be it...karen lotz;1331494 wrote:What's the point? Where did I say Ertz didn't deserve AA? Scroll back to my first post. Ertz had a statistically better year. Eifert is a better player. Show where I said anything different and I won't post anymore about it. -

SportsAndLadyGod lotz and sj are some sort of awful. They're insufferable fans.
