Yeah, ND is a national audience in most part because they have a national following. But they also have a national hating.bigdaddy2003;1328387 wrote:I guess I don't follow college football close enough. I didn't know there were that many people who disliked ND. I just think a lot of people will be afraid it will be another game like last year and won't tune in.
They are the #1 draw for TV by a LONGGGGG shot. I think the last papers I saw had them as nearly twice as much as #2 (Texas) in terms of who was the biggest draw.
OSU is right there as #3, for the record. -
sleeperReally pumped that I can watch a real championship game this year instead of an SEC vs. SEC snoozefest.

SpeedofsandTo hell with Bama and Uga.

There's also a reason NBC has dropped off the face of the earth in sports coverage the past 15 years. -

It's absurd how many people have an opinion about ND. It's not like most schools where outside of the region people don't necessarily care. Because ND has been in the national picture for so long, people either despise or like them, I hardly know of anyone who is simply indifferent.bigdaddy2003;1328387 wrote:I didn't know there were that many people who disliked ND. -

I'll give you credit for this, you're infinitely better than pu*sycatsgonewild because you actually hate the other SEC schools.Speedofsand;1328488 wrote:To hell with Bama and Uga.

RotinajIt will be VERY highly rated. Also, whats up with everyone on Bamas nuts again? A month prep for Saban is a hugeeee advantage but the D has proven to be suspect at times. I wouldnt be surprised if they lost to Georgia next weekend. I still think either Bama or Georgia beats ND but itll be a 27-24 type game.

I wouldn't be surprised if they lost either, but keep in mind most people think of Bama as this unstoppable machine, even after losing at home to A&M. I really, really hope UGA wins next weekRotinaj;1328521 wrote:It will be VERY highly rated. Also, whats up with everyone on Bamas nuts again? I don't think it will but we shall see.
Posted this in the game thread, but figured it might give you an idea...
@MikeHumesESPN: Huge Saturday for ABC: Michigan-Ohio St does 6.3 overnight, Florida-Florida St a 5.6 & Notre Dame-USC a BIG 10.3 -
BigAppleBuckeyeCongrats to the Notre Dame fans on this board, I admit that ND is a fun team to watch and I think they have a real shot in the title game. Best of luck, I know I will be rooting for you (which may be a bad thing, I have a crappy record rooting for championship teams, with the exception of my 4-1 Giants Super Bowl record ... OSU football 1-2, OSU hoops 0-1, Nets 0-2, Mets 1-1, Anyone except OSU vs SEC 0-4).
