I'm on another sports related forum. There is an OSU/UM topic. A KSU fan just asked, "why do OSU fans act like this game even matters"? He must not understand "The Game."

KSU? Are you kidding me? They have one decent team in 47 yrs and this doofus starts questioning the greatest rivalry in ALL SPORTS? Watta moron.

I remember my sophomore year, way back in '94 (wow I am getting old) ... was sick as a dog, had no plans to go out, but my boy brought over a big bag of the reddest bud I have ever seen. Two hours later, I was soaking wet in the middle of Mirror Lake with a UDF cup filled with bourbon. Two days later, Bobby Hoying, Joey Galloway and a D-lineman named Luke Fickell led the Buckeyes to a big W over the Wolverines ...

ESPN Classic is replaying past OSU-Michigan games over the next few days. 1969, 1974, 2004, 2006, 2011 off the top of my head. Showing 2006 right now.

Other than the soundtrack making it sound like The Game takes place in the Shire, that is amazing.

I'm ashamed of OSU fans being so evolved. We actually consider the media not to be complete bullshit and are swayed by their reasoning. In that 3 year span where Auburn & Alabama were finally both good, we let the media convince us that is was just as big of a rivalry if not bigger than OSU vs UM. We are foolishly swayed, while SEC conference believe 2-8 Kentucky would run the Big 10 table, and due to their idiotic views, have convinced the media to vote 2 SEC 1-loss schools in front of a perfect OSU team
